Our Royal family have their duties arranged for them by courtiers. The exception is the Countess of Wessex. I met her 20 years ago at a lunch after a service in St.Paul's Cathedral. She was NOT wearing a hat. Someone asked her "Why no hat?" She replied that it was her Mother-in-law's way of doing things ,and that Andrew's daughters wear joke hats to make a point

I agree that there is no competition for who did what best etc. However, we all have preferences that make us individuals, and it doesn't have to turn into a match. With this particular wedding, it felt so inviting, romantic and warm. There were so many smiles, even from the Royal Family, that made them appear to be much more human than our Royal Family. I actually sat, watched, and enjoyed this ceremony, but I can't say the same for the royal weddings I have observed here in the UK, as I find them too formal and cold for my liking.

After suffering through watching the Prince of Monaco nuptial to Princess Charlene. I felt like solid stone. No eye contact, no touching, no smiling at each other, no side whispering between them. There’s something about the Swedish royal family, they just show emotion. I remember Victoria and Daniel’s wedding when they both teared up, so sweet. But the way Sofia speaks at 20:29 and smiles at him. You can just tell how in love they are. Thanks for uploading this!

this is more beautiful than the British weddings because you can see real love on their faces and the royal family are actually crying. They are a lovely couple. My only comment is the Cold play song which did not fit the occasion and the words were odd for a wedding. Loved watching it! I loved Sophia's dress
