Good afternoon to all .. when I was a school child looking at the map of Jamaica I had the wrong pronounciation for Lucea now as a grown up listening to news from Jamaica got the correct pronounciation.. Its a nice area in JA

They need better city planning to cut down that traffic. The wide area where all those streets meet should probably be a round-about.

I saw a badly injured man in a car heading to the Lucea Hospital; the congestion in the town was terrible, I don't know if the gentleman survived, but they must complete the study and start construction of the Lucea and Hopewell Bypass.

That might be and impossible highway to build it wall probably be the most expensive highway in the Caribbean when you talk about mountains, hills and gully’s.

Loved your video on Lucea, my adopted hometown. Did my high school years there at Rusea's High School, with Campus 2 which was founded in 1777, being the 4th oldest high school in Jamaica. The town badly needs a bypass road and that traffic you encounter on your journey pretty much is it all day and into the night. Lots of traffic passes through going to or coming from Negril or Montego Bay. Sometimes it is worse as the little bridge you passed by, before making the sharp right to head to the heart of the town, floods out during heavy rains and then nothing can pass for hours. Great little town to hang out in although, there is not much to do compared to close by enough Negril.

The area is nice and building up fast too bad the crime has kept people from coming home even to visit Could use some more curbside with palm trees and liigumvite our national tree
