Fireside Collective Presents: The Bent Creek Sessions: Fish Scale

We’ll be posting a new video every Friday throughout the month of October as part of our series, “The Bent Creek Sessions.” Each week will feature a different cover song that reflects the band's influences. This week’s song, Fish Scale, was written by Artie Traum and recorded by some of our biggest music heroes: The David Grisman Quintet, and Tony Rice. Joe brought this song to the band. It's odd time signature made it a bit tricky to learn, but we had a blast getting it down. Hope you enjoy our version of Fish Scale.

Wow, that's nice! I have qyuickly been becoming more and more a fan of you guys. I have to wonder how the recording was done. Wireless mics? or Studio recording dubbed over the video maybe? Either way it's awesome.
