Thank you so much for this information sweetie, I sure did the exact steps to do that and turned off that screensaver and cleared the data and cache on my new Firestick 4k

I have since updated the video as I made a mistake - do not clear the screensaver data (cache yes, data no). Clearing the data will delete the changes you made to the screensaver start time. If you cleared the data, you will need to go and set the screensaver to never again. Sorry about this. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

Ty for the tip ms firestick I did it I already have my firestick sleep mode off but I wondering do it shut off automatically when not in used I know it will because when I'm not using it shut off automatically by itself I'm just going to shut the whole thing off

Hello i would like to say these videos are very good but i still have not found a fix for what im looking for and that is i bought this grab bag from goodwill will it had a firestick in it but no remote and when i plug it in it says no internet connection and i cant navigate it at all ive tried the fireapp it dont find the firestick i do have my otger firestick and the remote to it so is there a way to get this good will firestick to work or is it basically trash

You can pair your remote from another Firestick with the Firestick you got from goodwill. Make sure the goodwill Firestick is plugged into your TV and powered up. Grab the other Firestick remote. Press and hold the home button and don't let go. The remote should pair. You may have to keep holding the home button for 1-2 minutes. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

Tanya thank you for discussing the topic of data & storage as it relates to the Amazon apps. I have for a long time felt that Amazon should provide more storage to compensate for the amount of data and storage used by screensaver. There are apps from Amazon that I never use nor able to remove other than to use clear cache or clear data. I am happy with my Firestick and my Fire Cube performance but feel they would be a far superior if more storage was provided and the option to remove Amazon apps not used by the customer could be removed to customize to reflect the users needs. Really, how hard could it be to innovate further giving customers more as it relates to storage which would enhance the use and performance of the Amazon products? Adding storage is a different process depending on which Fire Operating System (Fire OS) you have. I've noticed that the Amazon Live Shopping runs constantly and the cache uses many MBs. I have to stop it from running and clear the cache often. Anyway to stop it completely? I have NEVER shopped Amazon on my fire stick.

@@FireTVSticks Idk I've owned a lot of firesticks. Once I got the shield tv theirs no going back. The shield will take a dull old tv and make it like new. Its worth an extra $50 to buy a quality device even if you just use it for a few hours a nice. I mean your paying a little more for a lot better hardware. In any case nice video keep them coming
