Glad I got rid of my firesticks, make more sense if one could remove their unwanted apps , until the day you want them if ever.

@@angelarodriguez8914 Nvidia Shields have non of this constant updates. App removal etc . Run two Plex Servers off of them .Only downside ?is Amazon Music App as not got Dolby Atmos on Shields ,but no big lost as I stopped subscribing to them anyway . use Tidal instead.

By turning off-loading to off, it will still delete apps if the storage gets low. It usually'll starts deleting the biggest 3rd party app that was the least used One of my customers had 3 apps trying to offload because Kodi somehow turned into over 1.6 GB total. I have no idea how he got the data that high. Bottom line is, you should always access apps going through "settings" so you can know if your storage space is getting low and so you can" force close" apps. If you click on an app on the Home Screen and when you're done watching it it's the back button or the home button it's still running in the background.

Amazon will delete apps based on third party and starting with the least used biggest app, probably Kodi if you have it installed. He could have demonstrated what he's trying to show, by downloading more apps and running the Firestick low on data. Then see what happens, before he tells everybody what will happen, which is not true. He will probably do another video identical to this one, in another 2 weeks just with 2025 written on it instead.

@@SANJOLOCO Constantly doing videos where 90% of the video is how to change 2 settings, downloading Downloader, then installing Unlinked, And of course pushing IP vanish. The other 10% of the video he shows the apps blurred out.
