I have Amazon FireStick 4K (3 of them around the house) and want to know how I can see an episode of a major network tv show that I missed. My cable provider stopped cable and if you wanted to stay with them you had to go to streaming. Costly. I have older TV and an older Bose receiver and speakers that now I can't use with HDMI, so I'm going to have to buy a newer TV and receiver to handle everything. This video was great so I did the things you recommended. I've only had AMZ Firestick for about 10 days.

I have a question for you I have a fire stick I have had it since 2018 and I was watching it a couple of nights ago and I paused it for a minute came back in to start watching it again and it said that I lost internet connection and I tried unplugging it and it still doesn't work and my remote won't work either. Do you know what I should try doing to get it working again.

Did you unplug from the tv or the wall outlet? Tv is just video. Unplug from wall for 60 seconds minimum and back in

We found a firestick that has used 10GB of data in 18 hours while plugged into a TV that was in standby mode. Power off your TV by pulling the plug or better yet don't buy any amazon streaming product! We found this at a business who was complaining that their Internet connection was lagging severely. We checked the Firewall logs and whittled it down to the fire stick.

If you clear data you will lose any log ins and passwords saved (I use Netflix, Sling, and prime which would be disastrous). You can clear bloatware (built in apps) but it’s not necessary. You should have plenty of of space if you follow our videos
