A lovely video. Some of the trails appear so intimidating to someone who doesn't ride. I know Gillian's mother, Jodi, and have for many years. She is the only one who managed during my life to convince me to get on a horse, but only twice. I'm too old now (74) to ride with any confidence, but it's a lot of fun and inspiring to watch these women ride. I waxed a bit tired even watching Gillian manage the PCT. You have to obviously be tough to do this. Gillian is definitely "a tough cookie." Like her mother, she grew up on the back of a horse. Whenever I think of doing something like this I have found if I lie down for a while the feeling passes.

We are planning to ride the California portion of the PCT beginning in April 2023. We are a group of disabled veterans who are looking for a challenge that will help in our individual recovery. We would appreciate any advice or help in planning.
