I always had a problem with the buffering part how do I solve that problem I remember kodi had and easy Advance Settings but with the new version it's not available anymore can you even stop the buffering anymore now inside of kodi

Kodi on fire tv 4k max, works terribly bad, video freezes (h264/h265), switch works fine normal firetv 4k and firetv Lite. The only way to correct the problem is to disable graphics acceleration, but this limits the video to 720p. Fire tv 4k max is not recommended for kodi.

I was not aware this was an issue on the 4K Max. I can't say that I have noticed this issue personally, however, thanks for sharing. If others also have the issue, please comment below and hopefully these steps will help to resolve the issue for you. * To disable hardware acceleration open Kodi and go to Settings > Player > Click the BASIC cog at the bottom left of the screen until it changes to ADVANCED or EXPERT > Tap up to VIDEOS > Over on the right, tap down to the PROCESSING header and turn off ALLOW HARDWARE ACCELERATION (turn off both if more than 1 option). * You can also turn off 4K links inside of individual addons. How to get to the settings may vary depending on the addon, but generally, try these steps: Open the addon > Tools (or Settings) > Filters > change maximum quality from 4K (2160) to 1080 or 720.

That error usually means that the URL was input incorrectly, or the server no longer exists.

When upgrading from version 18 to either version 19 or 20, your data and addons will be lost. However, if you are upgrading from any version 19 to another version 19 or to version 20, your addons and data will not be affected. Please keep in mind that I have not tested the upgrade process with all available addons, so I cannot guarantee 100% compatibility.

My reliable Kodi app would not start up and all I got was a black screen. Realizing that apps get weird at times I removed the current app and reinstalled the new 20.1, then The Crew add-on and everything was working fine when I turned off the TV. You can'r get rid of Amazon apps but you can stop them from showing on your apps screen. 1. Go to your apps screen 2. Hover over the app you don't want to see anymore 3. Press the OPTIONS button on your remote (button with 3 lines) 4. Choose HIDE FROM YOUR APPS

There are typically two reasons for this issue: 1) there may be a misspelling in the repository address, or 2) the repository is no longer available online.

No. You can install an update over the top. However, be aware that depending on which version you are currently at, and which version you're updating to, some addons may stop working. For example, if you are upgrading from v18 to v19 or v20, you could have problems. If you are upgrading from v19 to v20 you should be ok.
