and exactly this option (shift+arrow down or left mouse + ctrl) makes fl studio superior to all other daws when it comes to workflow! i tried alot of other daws and i didnt found that option anywhere, example when you make a clean installation of studio one you always got to klick and hold a sample with the mouse from the complete right corner of the monitor to the left corner of the monitor to fire another sample on your channel track. sometimes i got the feeling the coder does not work with their own daw they just code it ;)

i fire my samples on the channel track direct from browser while pressing strg and left mouse button on the sdample, thats little monster of a usefull option safed me hours and hours and this is the first option i am going to look if i checkout another daw from time to time, i didnt found any daw wich got this option.

There's a lot of small helpful tricks like that in FL. :) Most daws has something similar to this, but the shortcuts and methods will differ slightly. Are you thinking of switching to another daw? I use a few daws in addition to FL myself. :)

This is a good tip, but how do you go back to the original sample you had before or do you just have to reload the project from a save?

Unfortunately you can't undo replacing a sample in FL Studio. I find that a bit annoying too. Hopefully they will fix this in the future.

Love your videos. I'm having a problem with this tip though. When I click on my scroll wheel it gives me a magnifying glass. Any idea how to fix this?

Well, it's definitely not a feature of FL Studio. There must be some underlying program that's controlling the scroll function, such as windows disability options for example, which will let people with poor eyesight easily zoom in and out and so on. Check your settings and see if any of that is turned on. :)

Hi just found your channel. Thanks for your quick tips. Can you pls make a video on how to bounce the whole Fl Project (Stems) when you have effects, like gross beat/filter etc on the masterchannel? Because the effects disappear when I want to send the stems to a mixer engineer. The same thing is when you add reverb on the Aux channel. I know that you can export every channel one by one, but is there no faster way? I havn't found any good videos on youtube or internet about this subject. And also, how to copy an Edit event to another channel. I know that you can copy automation but is there anyway to copy edit event? Thanks ! :)

I can understand your frustration. Unfortunately there's no good way to do that in FL Studio, short of soloing all tracks one by one and rendering out the master.. :\

For some reason there's no undo function for that. There's two things you can do. 1. Find the original sample and drag it in again on top of the one you replaced it with. Everything should be back to normal. 2. Locate your backup folder and load a previous version of the project. It typically auto saves every 5 minutes or so.
