I finished the game a week ago or so. I thought that I would never see another soul talking about the game as it was just so, old. Brings me a sense of warmth that people are still enjoying this beautiful experience till this day.

You should give more indie games a try, I’ve found that they’re often far better experiences than most big games these days. There’s so many good ones out there waiting to be played. With that being said, Firewatch after all this time is still a one of a kind experience. I desperately wish there were more games like it.

Firewatch originally inspired me to make a game 3 years ago on Roblox (Yes. I know. Roblox. It's easy, okay?). It started off as just a little exploration and chill game with some puzzles, but then I realized it could be much more, so I restarted. Here I am 3 years later, still with barely anything done for my game, yet still coming back to the game for inspiration and enjoyment, hoping one day I could finally release the game inspired by one of my all time favourite games. Firewatch is a wonderful game, I highly recommend the game to anyone who just wants to relax and look at a beautiful artstyle with an amazing story. Great video, keep it up!

The Journey is more beautiful than the destination, and this journey was truly amazing. The audio and visuals are soothing. There is a deeper meaning to this game, it's not what it looks like, the real story requires a mature audience. 9/10

Firewatch is a perfect example of why branching out and trying something new can have profound effects. Or, can be simply an enjoyable excursion, if nothing else. It's nice to not limit our horizons. The fact it's only 2-4 hours also leaves little excuse. Certainly give this a try if you have the chance and the time!

Firewatch was incredible for every reason you listed here. I went into it the same way, not knowing much about it and definitely not expecting to be scared by it, haha. A similar game is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, which is worth a try if you’ve never played it. It gave me really similar vibes in that it’s gorgeous, but things are not quite as they seem. However it has some immediate jump scares so you are on edge right from the get go. It doesn’t have the slow build of Firewatch, but has a very slow burn, almost to the point you can’t handle it haha. Another unseen, unknown enemy scenario.

My theory: Delilah and Ned were working together the whole time to hide Brian’s death by distracting Henry with all the events of the game that took place (such as all the wapatii station and being tailed and whatnot, yk what i mean) to try cover up and get Henry’s mind off Brian’s death. Delilah knows Brian is dead and possibly even knows the truth to how he actually died. But she doesn’t want anyone else (Henry) finding out for her and Neds sake as they would both be investigated and even jailed possibly for both being apart of a murder, on why they kept it a secret that Brian was in the woods in the first place and why they kept his death hidden and hadn’t reported authorities. Delilah and Ned know each other personally and this is evident in many ways but the two that standout to me is that how Delilah’s chair and Ned’s chair both face each other from their lookouts and at the end of the game you see a photo of Brian and Ned together, those cameras don’t have timers that go off and take a photo. So that leaves the question who was there to take the photo? It had to be Delilah bc she was the only lookout that knew about Brian. Any other lookout would have called the authorities for a child being in the lookout role with his dad or would have reported him missing / dead by now. She’s definitely hiding something. Long story short, Delilah and Ned were working together and led Henry on abt pretty much everything just to raise his paranoia and get him worried abt himself rather than Brian (and his death) which both Ned And Delilah knew abt. Has Delilah done this with every lookout since Ned? Or was Henry more switched on than other lookouts so they had to do something to cover all of this up.

I don't think a game like firewatch has me this much hooked ever and I am saying this as someone who has spent half my life behind a machine playing video games also worth noting it took me just 2 days to finish to tell you how much I was intrigued by it from the start , this game truly is something else
