Is the Firewire guy the same dude that used to have the Shred Show board reviews on YT? Those were great.

Got my 5'10" Cado last week, took it out into Ernesto swell over the weekend. It's my new go to everyday board! Love it! Love the 2+1 fin setup, even convinced some dudes in the lineup to get one.

Same as Rob. He scored both the Fabio and Emilia swell in California on a Machadocado last week.

What’s your dims mate?
@kanablis19462 ай бұрын
@jameswitty283 I'm 6'3" 180 intermediate surfer. Ride the 5'10" wanna say it's 37.6L. I live east coast, myrtle beach, east coast so wanted a higher performance groverler that would also work on bigger days. Was riding a 41L sweet potato, the Cado is my new jam though.

Are his older fcs bamboo twin and trailer set the same specs as his new set for the cado?
@firewiresurfboards2 ай бұрын
The two front fins of his new template have a narrower tip and a narrower midpoint. The trailer is more swept back. The way his new template is built also creates more immediate recoil for quicker spring back during turns. Rob specifically sought to design his new 2 + 1 template to perform like a thruster within a 2 + 1 template, for high performance with the same emphasis on trim, glide, and controlled slide that you'd expect from at 2 + 1 template.

@@firewiresurfboards Thanks guys. Have had a Seaside, got a Mashup (love it), recently picked up a Too Fish. Also picked up the mid 6 back when you were distributing - Great board for good waves! This little board looks too damn fun. But heck, they all are!

Agree! There’s no way I’d rather ride this board rather than my seaside
@Craig-t2g2 ай бұрын
@@surfininmy40s Seaside is an epic board for sure but I oversized mine. I had a 5'8. Just traded it for a 5'5 Too Fish and the 5'5 feels way more correct a size for me. Paddles and gets into waves better! An eye opener. Looking around to get a 5'5 or 5'6 Seaside now
@surfininmy40s2 ай бұрын
@@Craig-t2g how much you weigh again? I might be picking up a 5’6 seaside tomorrow. I hope I can ride it. I feel the 5’8 might be better for me
