That’s a nice score of pallets. Last fall, I came across a nice source of totes from an ad at $15 per. Ended up getting 8 loads of 26 totes 😅. They all had the bladders in them, too!! Imagine the creativity it takes to position and process that amount in about a half acre area, lol.

The best part of this deal is they had no bladders! But $15 per is awesome!

@@OutdoorsEngineer that is true. No bladders make for easier processing. I messed up, and got rid of all but 8 bladders. I quickly found out that I need more so that I can store and discard the saw chips and slash, while also storing the bigger pieces of slash for my burn barrel. Hopefully, I can grab the 16 free totes available next week. That would solve that problem. I’ll keep my fingers crossed, 😁. Also,…I would suggest to use a grinder with a flap disc to smooth your edges up. A regular disc will still leave them rough. That way, you or anyone else won’t get caught on the cages.

nice haul, mitch. i like how you tossed them on the trailer like the hulk. i would have done the same thing. honestly, with 12 totes, there's a ton of utility there for you for $350

They are surprisingly light weight. Which I guess is a huge benefit when trying to move firewood around. I'm already realizing that benefit. I'm going to have to get some more!

Great video. Thanks. I held out as long as I could looking for cheap totes in the Houston, TX, area. I finally gave in and ended up paying $80/ea. for fifteen 330-gallon totes. I am going to keep looking for cheaper ones but I feel like I got into the IBC tote thing well after they became a hot item. I’m not certain why anyone would give them away now for free or even cheap unless they’re not aware of how hot an item they are or they live in a part of the country where they are not used as much for things other than their original purpose.
