Firewood Friday - Episode 1 - AM 714-1400 dump trailer with a JMS 170 log loader

This is the first video in the firewood Friday series. Today, we have an AM Machinery model AM 714-1400 dump trailer with a JMS 170 log loader. We have this machine out in the field at the family farm loading some logs that we will be processing with a Blacks Creek firewood processor at some point in the future.
The AM 714-1400 model means it is 7' wide by 14' long with a GVWR of 14000 lbs; dual 7,000 lb dexter axles. This dump trailer has solid 2' sides and an additional 2' of wire mesh above (upgrade option). It has double doors at the rear that fully open for unloading.
The JMS 170 log loader is a 17' boom with a capacity of 2500 lbs mid boom and 1500 lbs at maximum reach. The boom will rotate 360° from centre and features a 360° continuous grapple rotation that is 48" fully open. It is supported by fully hydraulic stabilizers. This beauty is powered by a Vanguard power pack with electric start.
