Nice processor! That is really going to increase your firewood production. How many cords do you anticipate producing this year?

I'm hoping to produce 10k bags for camping and 1000 full cords... this is only my second year at this so I really don't know what I can do .. but looks lkei one of the big players retired last year.. hoping to replace him

Hi I was watching your videos, and great videos. Myself I'm pondering on a 2500. How many hours on yours? You have any issues with it? How many cords an hour can you produce? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the great video. We are looking at this same processor . Currently running a cord king here in Manitoba What is the average production rate per hour on this unit ?
@buckinfirewood
@buckinfirewood Жыл бұрын
Production rate is about 1 to 2 cords per hour depending what your logs look like.. the saw is 23" cut.. so you can really move the wood if you want.. also the newer ones have and extra pump allowing you to cut while splitting.. which cord king you thinking of replacing?

@@buckinfirewood we are running 2022 CordKing CS2030 Model 44 Upgraded 74 hp Deutz turbo diesel engine. 44 inch Carbide tooth circular saw with 20 inch cutting capacity. 12-way Hydraulic adjustable wedge. We can’t get timber big enough to make this machine produce. I’ve are getting about 1 cord an hour max for a very expensive machine. Thanks for the info, much appreciated !!

Nice I was going to get the cordking with 60" was in production with 3 weeks from getting it but had to pull the plug for a bit because of a Fire Ban that's still in effect.. one of our biggest customers is in the middle of it... what size logs you running there?
@buckinfirewood
@buckinfirewood Жыл бұрын
1 cord per hour should be more then enough to pay the bill on that processor... we run both Multitek 2025 with the sweet wood and everything else in the other.. Respilts are not fun on the Multitek. So we use the Black's Creek for small and anything that needs to be resplit

@@buckinfirewood most of our logs are under 6in diameter for tamarack and jackpine. We do get the odd load of nice birch (10 inch) out of kenora Ontario which is a pleasure to process. It’s been difficult to secure big timber

Before the covid increase it was close to 50k for Black's Creek 2500, the conveyor and all the options.. Today I'm not sure what she's worth but I can tell you this.. that machine was well worth the investment.. and I'm looking at upgrading to a new one.. Delivery next year..

I never timed it yet but I can fill my trailer in about 2 hours 5 facecords.. when I get some racks empty I'll run for an hour and see what we can stack to get a proper measurement. The 2500 and the conveyer was almost 50k Canadian.. worth every nickel

2.5 facecord per hr.. thats by myself. Loading logs and leveling off the trailer... this wood I have is probably the best .. when my regular supply starts rolling in then ill get a more accurate estimate of what I can do cause it's all different sizes .. smaller the wood the longer it will take .. the diameter of the logs makes a huge difference in production time
