Nice sized splits Mike. On my splitter, I usually go for 2x4 to 4x4 sized splits. I dont think that's too bad without a box wedge either..
@KNLFirewood7 ай бұрын
That's not bad at all without a box wedge. Especially when you're splitting those monster rounds!
@TwinCityFirewood6 ай бұрын
You got the best sounding “newer” tractor on KZbin, I’m serious about that 😂. Great info! I liked both experiments man. That 24D is a beast! Enjoyed it as always Mike! 🤝
@TwinCityFirewood6 ай бұрын
By the way, it usually takes me 25 mins to split a loose basket like that with my super split. 9 mins is awesome!! I’d be curious to know how long it’d take with your axis.

@@TwinCityFirewood ok...hadn't really thought about that. I'll put it on the list. Good idea!

That’s flying Mike! I did the same experiment in my last video and it took me 16 minutes. I think the difference was that I was splitting smaller rounds,so more time loading. Thanks for the shoutout!
@KNLFirewood7 ай бұрын
Hey DW! And you have the pizza wedge, right? So even if we had the same size rounds you may have an extra stroke in there because you're getting smaller finished pieces?? 16 minutes is still pretty stinking fast! Thanks for letting me know your secret! See ya buddy!

Now here's the truth about that. Don't knock it until you've tried it. They are WAY more comfortable than jeans AND if you keep your eye out you can find them on sale cheaper than a good pair of jeans. Comfortable, cheap, and classy! 🤣🤣 I don't even own a pair of jeans anymore. Truth.

Mike you’re right that was definitely not standard tree service wood, the box wedge made short work of that without much waste! If you could only get beautiful wood like that all the time you’d finish your 200 face cord challenge quickly. I agree stacking the wood pretty before you split is a waste of valuable time. Stay safe! 😂TCT
