Thank you and thanks to everyone for the nice comments listed below. I read them all . It pleases me to know I help so many backyard fireworks enthusiast advance further into pyrotechnics. This is why I named one of my Consumer Fireworks cakes "Academic Pyro". Its me teaching pyrotechnics to the people that follow my videos.

I love how you fire the small Cannon...no major announcement. Keeping em' on their toes Dave. My dad used to do something similar on New year's Eve with electrically fired blasting caps. His buddy Tom and him would wake up the neighborhood at Midnight. Disentigrating 12 5 gallon buckets on the process. So much fun...thanks for that man

Always look forward to your videos... because of you I have learned so much about fireworks and now have a firing system and will be ordering a few more.. tons of igniters in 1 and 2 meter lengths and will be getting some 1.75 racks for mortar shells... am working on doing a few shows locally for a community event and for my firehouse and then eventually planning to get the type 54 license.. i can't thank you enough for showing me another true passion that was buried deep inside me ....

Same thing here brother. Purchased 2 cobras last year because of the knowledge Dave gave me and they are amazing. Best show in my neighborhood by far! Building racks is easy and fun. I made two 10 shot racks and have a board with tubes on it. Nothing beats a canister shell!

Always look forward to this yearly post. Great work but your volunteer Collier shoots were far superior but I'm sure more of a headache.

Nice video What is a budget for a nice lil show like that ? Ps. Judging by the debris around those mortars you already shot a bunch of salutes ?
