Looks like an Accucraft steam pressure gauge. I'd recognize that anywhere, I picked one up for my Ruby kit.

It would run but wear out very quickly.

It's a loco that runs on the 2 foot gauge Welsh Highland Railway. I describe him in detail in earlier videos.

Hi Jose, I did not build from detailed plans. I found a front, side and top elevation drawing to scale and used that to build from a book about the loco long out of print. Blackgate Engineering used to sell detail plans for a 3 1/2" gauge version.

The plans I used are not mine they are from the booklet - Russell: Story of an Historic Narrow Gauge Steam Locomotive by Welsh Highland Railway - which is out of print but you can find it second hand online. These plans are just a side, top, front and back elevation. They are not broken down into component part but are very detailed.

Hi Jacob, not for a boiler this size. I do test the boiler myself with water to twice working pressure to make sure it's alright.

I found I had to modify the fan by bringing the fan wheel closer to the body. Changed to AA batteries but it does use them up once every firing.

The scale is 1 in 19 or 16mm to the foot. The gauge is 32mm wide track same as '0' gauge.
