Margaret Hoover is an excellent interviewer. I stumbled across her interview with Elie Honig. Subsequently, I watched her interviews with Andrew Weissmann and, of course, Maggie Haberman. In all three cases, she shined. All three guests were also first-rate.

She most certainly is. I have Firing Line set to record on my DVR as I enjoy every interview. Many who like to think themselves journalists should watch her. They could learn a lot from Margaret Hoover as she is polite, well informed about each guest, and asks important questions.

I'm just reading the book now. I'm surprised by how early his associations with Manafort, Stone, and Guiliani started. The story unfolds as if New York, and especially NYC, is a small town, with everybody knowing everybody! Fascinating intersections of powerful people.

There is a reason for the bell curve classification of human intelligence. The bell curve describes distribution of degreesn of intelligence. Most are at the center, basically normal average humanity. Half fall above, half fall below the midline. As Ann Landers (or maybe it was Dear Abby) once said about a reader's less competent doctor, one must remember 50% of them graduated in the bottom half of their class. Trump is able to communicate better with those. There is a reason he loves the uneducated. While many of them embody some strengths and graces beyond our own, reading comprehension and critical thinking are seldom among them. It might help us to understand why the trump support phalanx is so desperately anxious to keep critical thinking out of education. It cuts down on their food chain.

I have read the book. It's very well written and researched. I recommend it to anyone who wants to understand the way Trump thinks. And the disfunction that rules both his business and in the end his administration.

If you looked at Trump with a discriminating but objective eye, if you watched the first months of his presidency with interest and fair mindedness, and then watched him lapse into indulgence and pettiness, you can pretty well guess what's in the book without reading it, though I will eventually read it.

He's naturally an authoritarian, born to be. The only reason he didn't go further by using the military in ways he preferred is he was talked off the cliff many times by people he decided to listen to then and there. But a second term would bring out and expose his true authoritarian desires, intentions and plans for our country. He is dumb in allot of ways but a really good conman with sharp instincts to how to get around obstacles. He has abilities to con with a raw fearlessness when it comes to pushing his weight full on and breaking all the rules. He is very bad for our country. Of course, he's an authoritarian. He idolizes all authoritarians living and passed. He staged a overthrow of our U.S. government while he was President to stay in power. That's a Coup. He's evil to the core.

That was very good. Unfortunately, as a news junkie for many years, there was really nothing here that could qualify as new knowledge to me. I've known who #TFG was for about 40 years. But I did really enjoy watch Margaret (one of my favs) do this interview with Maggie (one of my favs), because they're both so good at expressing things and being focused and informative. I will admit that I sometimes had a difficult time focusing on what Margaret was saying, because her hair is just SO AMAZING! But that's probably just me. :)
