Yeah, wow. I just finished watching this interview. I watched the Colbert interview last night and I was excited about it, as Colbert is very intelligent and also very politically aware. But I definitely found the interview disappointing and lacking. The audience seemed like they wanted laughs and comedy, and kinda like Stephen was trying to give it to them. Tonight's interview however, at first the audience tried to laugh but quickly gave up because it was apparent that the subject was being treated seriously, and they sat silently engaged for most of the interview. I could have watched them go over this for at least an hour. Anyway I can't speak to why the Colbert interview missed the mark but I was glad to see this one tonight. And I look forward to reading the book.

Through a jumble of random tweets that individually may or may not capture the public’s interest? I think it’s actually much more effective to compile the vital information in a compact and logical manner (like in a book) and send it out all at once so people can get the big picture. Also, this book is being timed close to elections, when it will reach the most people and inform their voting. I’d say that’s the best case scenario for all parties involved, including trump, who seems to begrudgingly respect her work.
@exextrovert2 жыл бұрын
@@TwoTreesStudio Actually, while I do completely understand where you are coming from, I think there are also many people who have intensely followed the Trump presidency, who acknowledge that the truth is that there is nothing in this book that would have made any difference in the mind's of conservatives. If you really sit back and think about it honestly, you begin to realize that Trump has done so many insanely selfish, arrogant and ridiculous things, that none of this would have made any difference. I'm sure you have observed how the MAGA people think, they would have twisted into something akin to an attack on their messiah and moved on. Trevor has a unique way of mixing humor and serious current content that has been his trademark on this show. It’s like what you see in the mixing and production of a marble cake, the contrast is not lost in the process. He has perfected it and for sure will be missed when he moves on hopefully to bigger and better things.

Thank you so much for a phenomenal interview! It's a treasure to have both of you exploring and discussing your insights in a very entertaining banter. I hope that both of you continue to do interviews, each in your own right!

I think the media needs to stop playing into his need for attention. He’s like a child. Ignore him.
