Hi Tammy A little trick taught to me when I was 13 is to look up - tilt you face as if looking into the sun and then say your vowels. This uses all the facial and neck muscles and helps keep your face and neck tight. I'm 61 and have fairly tight muscles in the face, chest and neck. Perhaps this will help someone else out there 😊 thanks for all the wonderful info!

It’s wonderful seeing your lovely face. Glad you’re recovered somewhat from Covid. I guess this will be something we’ll have to live with. I don’t think anything will firm the neck once it starts to loosen. I think we can just moisturize the heck out of our skin. Take care, Lucy

So glad to hear your feeling better! I’ve been using the Colleen Rothschild Shampoo and hair mask ….. my absolute favorite too….. for years. I keep backups always! When I saw the Shampoo/ Conditioner combo, I ordered it immediately and I LOVE the new conditioner! I’ve already ordered backups! Lol. Thanks for showing how to use the Gua tool again. I have Colleen’s, but have never used it. Gonna get the City Beauty oil and start using that baby!!

No matter what your genetics, hair cannot grow in thicker and darker from shaving (or tweezing, or any form of hair removal). Cutting hair at the surface of the skin (shaving) will not affect the root of the hair. The hair might feel thicker because it is cut blunt, but they are not thicker. Old wive’s tale. I always say, that if shaved hair comes in thicker and darker, don’t you think balding men would be shaving their heads more often?!🤣

Tammy you are absolutely stunning! Your neck and jaw line look great, but I can sure appreciate your proactive approach. I am 43, and you inspire me to do what I can to look my best. My mom and grandma have very pronounced jowls. With today’s science and technology in skin care, I believe it can improve the aging face. I am definitely staying on top of my skin health.

Thank you for excellent information as always. It was cute when you called out to Harley because he was rooting around behind you, then he immediately stopped and you could see his black eyes peering over your right shoulder. Also when he laid down you could see the tail still going; he almost stole the show. Sorry to hear you had Covid, so take good care. I'm going to check out your hair video now, if anyone knows about care and maintenance of hair it is you.

Your neck looks great! I'm gonna try the gosha thing. I don't know your age, but you look lovely. My neck muscles are bugging me, more prominent. I get a long black hair same area as you. My 94-year-old mother told me it's from my paternal grandmother who had coal black hair until her 70's. I love it! I pluck it out and thank my grandma Maxwell for my father. I tried a couple of deplaning treatments last year here at the Spa in my development as I was afraid I would cut myself if I tried doing it on my own. (Actually, now that I think about it, the Esthetician scratched me pretty bad around my nose.) However, since I took the plunge and started doing it myself I wish I'd done it years ago! I thought the hair wld grow back darker but in my case it does not. My skin feels baby soft and like Tammy said, mup goes on smoother. You just need to take your time and be careful to barely sweep over the skin, esp with a new razor or u will get nicks. Also, this saves a bundle of $ as the razors are really inexpensive at TJ Maxx, HG and Marshall's. I started using a Gua Sha a couple of wks ago after a RISADOESMAKEUP video where she showed b4 and after pics of using her Gua Sha. I bought a Sacheu stainless steel Gua Sha (as it won't break when dropped) from Walmart who beat out everyone in pricing. I've been using it for a few wks 2x daily. Don't see any difference yet but it's soothing and like a little spa treatment.

So happy to see you back, and healthy. You mention often what menopause does to women, I want to ask if you could touch upon bone loss, especially after menopause. Maybe what you do for your bones.. my docs are on me to take the meds., I am not! They seem to do more harm. I am all about reversing loss with exercise. I think you mentioned recently you do not take calcium, I was told not to take it, but get it in food. For me D3, collagen peptides, and walking a hour a day, are not doing much. Would love to hear what you do and dont believe in to help the bones.

The fatigue can linger for quite awhile and I had a cough that lasted for 6 weeks, I sure hope you don’t have the cough, it was brutal… Also, be prepared for the “COVID shed” which occurs about 2-3 months after you’ve had COVID and your hair starts falling out 😩 and I mean a lot! I had a lot of excess skin under my chin from weight loss. It was my lifetime desire to get rid of my very bad double chin. Best decision I ever made…no more being self conscious. Looking pretty good for 64. It wasn’t an easy road. First attempt was botched…had to have it redone by a second surgeon. I totally understand your desire not to have unelective surgery. I really did have a choice….it was really bad. I know it is non elective, but I couldn’t go back and correct it.
