Bex - had to comment when you said "really pissed me off". While your feller did some hard work helping you in this outfit, he demonstrated the most perfect way to break a lug nut off your axle when stepping on a "four way". Food for thought.

Hi Bex, I’ve had car repair shops give me the business, as well. It’s infuriating. Why don’t they just say, we don’t want to do it! I can live with that. At any rate, it’s always good to see you. I wish Ren/Rand was still traveling with you some of the time. The two of you girls have fun together. And, that’s fun to watch. Take care, pretty girl!! ♥️🙏🏼♥️

Ran across your video as I am interested in installing Sumo Spring helpers on my 2012 Honda CRV. It is towed behind my RV, and I added a receiver hitch and bike rack. Thank you for your video, and it is heartening to see another female traveler. 🙂

What a wonderful friend that was super helpful Bex. I never want my thing-a-ma-jig ever dragging on the ground or just blowing in the wind for sure 😏 That watch-a-call-it is so helpful in those precarious situations. It will be wonderful when all of the parts are replaced which will help you have a much better ride for sure. Sorry to hear about those jerks at the repair shops. I try to avoid them by working on my cars when I was younger. Great to hear from you Bex. Safe travels.

My suggestion is to buy or rent a 1/2" impact wrench (battery, electric, air, whatever..) for Kristofer before sending him under your car to get those bolts loose. Otherwise you risk yanking the car off the jacks or at the least a lot of cussing and banging of knuckles, elbows and other parts trying to get enough leverage to wrestle the bolts loose while laying in cramped positions under the car. I noticed you measured the height of the body over the rear axle. Do the same for both front wheels and measure all again after hooking up the Casita (on flat level ground) to see what that tongue weight is doing to your suspension. If the front measurement is higher with the Casita hooked up, you need to look into a weight distribution hitch to bring it back down.

I put some of them on my Honda Element. Actually friends did it for me as my hands are not as strong as they used to be. Did it at this year,'s van aid in Quartzsite area. It helped level it out so the front end is a bit lower and the rear higher. But use exterior rated zip ties, when you do it.

Well the first thing is nice hearing from you. I also loved how you described all the work being done on your car with all the correct terminology. Got a few laughs out of that. Just a note, the man in the previous comment suggested an impact wrench. I bought a battery 1/2 inch impact wrench for my truck just in case I had to change a tire. I suggest you get one also and you will surely need it if you do the front suspension yourself. Have a great day.

With the jigamajig and the thingamajig having new connections, your gonculator should combobulate in perfect harmony!! You just related the 2nd story of a mechanic shop refusing to do needed work that I’ve heard of in the last 3 days. Both shops were out west. This baffles me.

Keep a close eye on those springs. You've left half the springs unsupported and these outside halves may now be doing all the work. As they're made for half as much effort, they may fail early. Picking up some new beefier springs asap and carrying them around would be wise.

Search for women/female owned auto shops. I feel so much better at these places. The prices where I go are cheaper than the dealership and the repairs actually last. I know you move about so I cannot recommend any place to you in particular. Good luck with hunting on line for female owned auto shops. I hope I've set you up for a better experience and not a bad one.

Always a pleasure watching your videos Next. I want to say I'm sorry for your frustration with mechanics. I have not owned a vehicle for over two years because of such BS. My insurance provides a ride to my eye doctor-never got an eye exam-took too long to enter my info to computer. Taken to the dentist for cleaning-was handed a bill for $140 for x-rays & anesthesia-ride came to get me without getting teeth cleaned. Moral of our story. If it needs done-do it yourself!! Or keep it from flapping in the wind or dragging on the ground. May God have mercy on us all 🙏✌️🌎💞 PS. I have truly missed your videos 👏

Bex, do not put the sumo helpers back in with the new coilovers and 1inch lift. they are garbage and will ruin your new coil overs by spreading the coils unevenly on each side. you will not need them if you have the one inch lift. Not only will it bend you coils, it will raise it and your axles will wear out faster plus possible damage to the seals.

When its under dealer warranty, you have to put up with them dodging services for your car. They'd rather wait until you're out of warranty. That way they can say, "well, you should've gotten this done or that yadda yadda imma fathead".

It should be on her receipt what they did and what needs to be done even if they refused to do it. Seems odd they didn't want to steal her money as this is why they exist, unless they were so overbooked they had to turn away business.
