Does my camera have to be on a particular setting, such as Manual or P?

I don't think so - but mine is always in Manual so if P doesn't work try to swap. I don't think that matters though!

Thanks for this information. i used Card 2, but didn't have my file in the root directory. Moved the file to the Root for the R5 camera to see it. Because I think the screen is a touch screen I pressed OK, on the LCD display. All is good, just after my brain told the fingers to use the set button to say OK.
