What nonsense?. All dailogues were from original malayalam movie. Not a single dailogue was added or missing from original. Being a master crafter comedy director, Priyadarshan brilliantly re-made it to suit the taste of hindi audiences. Having seen both malayalam and hindi version I can say if any other direcor had re-made it, the film would have been different. I read somewhere before, the producer wanted to add masala scenes and item number in the movie as popular in those days, but Priyan was against it, as per him item masala scenes and number will spoil the family mood of the movie. That was the fallout with producer and director. This guy still carries it.

Neeraj Vohar was very underrated he has written so many hits. Bollywood has lost a very precious gem . I think his legacy will be continued by firoz nadiadwala . I would like to add that firoz nadiadwala was the only person who has taken care of neeraj sir when he was ill, firoz sir setted a room for him and all treatment was going at firoz 's sir house. This is what true friendship means. And in the first few minutes he mentioned him first shows that how much he respectes neeraj sir . Lots of love God bless firoz sir 🙏

When the shooting of Hera Pheri was completed, Producer Feroz Nadiawala didnt find it good from an economics point of view ( Akshay and Sunil in non action roles, wearing specs, no glamour , poverty set up etc, no action ) . Feroz asked Dir Priyadarshan to add 2 item songs to the film - Priyan refused to do so as he felt such songs would ruin the film as it was a diff subject. Feroz later took Ahmed Khan on board and shot these 2 songs ( the one at the start and the one later with Namrata Shirodkar - both songs had Akshay as Sunil also refused to feature in them ). Priyan was upset with Feroz for this reason

Only if you understand the milieu of the Gujarati and Marathi belt, you'll understand how brilliant and original was the acting. Also, the staging of situations too was totally fascinating in Hera Pheri. Credits go to Priyadarshan sir as he completely changed the image and styles of Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar forever through Hera Pheri.

As per one of Priyans interview about HP, producer wanted to add masala scenes and item Number in the movie and also he felt action scenes are not like normal hindi movies. He wanted to edit and re-make the movie with more strong action scenes with Sunil Shetty and Akshay and with masala scenes and item number as popular on those days. Priyan was against it and begged producer not to spoil the movie, Sunil Shetty was also against it but Akshay agreed to do additional songs. So later they added two songs with Akshay choreographed by Ahmed khan. After that Priyan was not ready to work with this producer again, though later he approached Priyan to make sequel several times.

wow really , this guy didn't had faith in priyadrashan. this guy add 2 song jabardasti. imagine priydarshan came to kwn when he saw the movie. when the movie released viewers only had one complain that why were songs put in this movie. secondly the credit he gave to neeraji, really this movie scene by scene from malayam movie ramjirao speaking.

He thinks that the two songs enhanced the quality of Hera Pheri, what a joke!! Due credit to Neeraj Vohra for the dialogues and screenplay but all the dialogues are exactly the same in the Malayalam original obviously well tweaked for the Hindi audience. To say that Priyadarsan had no role to play in the success of the movie is a big joke.

See I respect Mr. Late Neeraj Vora ji but the credit should go to priyadarshan also because the first part of Hera-pheri was a remake of Malayalam movie ramoji Rao speaking and in that flim priyadarshan sir was the 2nd unit director

" arre sir even Rohit Shetty has a huge responsibility in golmaal series or even Sajid Nadiadwala has a huge responsibility in housefull series but they manages to keep there promise alive. I don't know what this clown is talking about, agreed that Neeraj Vora was a good dialogue writer and his dialogues were damn funny sadly most of his story's were directly ripped off from English Movies. Hera Pheri 1 was the best and it's because Of Priyan unlike Phir Hera Pheri which ruined Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels. No doubt Priyadarshan didn't have any interest working in HP3

Priyadarshan has done several movies with Akshay and Paresh Rawal which were all huge hits which changed their graph as actors I don’t agree what this guy is saying anyone can say story in 15 mins,all the situation and dialogue was taken same re written to hindi with cultural differences from the Malayalam movie rest is ditto.either he doesn’t like working with Priyadarshan as with Anezz Basmee.
