And in case you dont know,inside the standings,there is a school,a police station,and ambulance station,which cooperate to the decay after 90 years.It doesnt comply anymore to Conmebol or FIFA standards.

Further comment on Centenario: even if it has remained mostly untouched, some changes have been made. All stands have been expanded with another "ring" added to all but the Olímpica, which still has had more seats installed in the last rows. The América tribune also got a partial roof and VIP stands, and seating has also been added to all stands which has lowered the maximum capacity. It also has a public school and the Football Museum below the Olímpica stand.

Estadio Centanario now a days looks like a battle field the day after war, when the "Clasico" is played (the game between the 2 most popular teams over here in Uruguay (Nacional and Peñarol)) fans often rip off the seats to throw them at the oposing team´s supportes, thus making the authorities in charge of the stadium don't even bother replacing those sits anymore.
