Well Chicago is insanely small compared to NYC and the two shouldn't even be compared. Also whenever someone shows you "Chicago" it's always that super small area by the water etc etc. As someone that goes to both places they really are not comparable at all. You can do everything you want to in Chicago in a couple of days and be bored, you can spend weeks in NYC and never even get close to seeing or doing everything you want to do.

venom5809 I disagree, downtown Chicago is actually bigger than Manhattan 25 miles north to south vs. 22 miles. I think it's subjective, I’ve lived either near or in NYC my whole life and I have visited Chicago many times more than 10 and I can see many comparisons in the two. There are tons to do in Chicago and manhattan it's really just what you're into.

Welcome to van ownership and the freedom to go places and see things that only come from having a personal coach. You guys look like you are adapting very well. We have an Airstream Interstate and got it in 2016. We've gotten used to condensing and making use of the available space. For instance, if we go on a trip for a month, we tend to only take t-shirts and jeans. When it's time to stop to do laundry, it's easier to wash things by having to do fewer loads. One thing that we have gotten a lot of use out of is our Oxx Coffeboxx which works great. It looks like you have the lithium package which simplifies energy usage and management. We have AGM batteries for the coach, but we also have a Goal Zero 3000 for fridge and freezer usage. And being a photographer, isn't it great to get off the Interstates and onto backroads? It's so much fun being able to grab a camera and get the shot in places where the rest of the world doesn't go or know about. Enjoy the journey.... @coasttocoastphotoatl

@8:50 haha! The Revel is 4x4, you should've check out the Oregon trail from Wyoming and Westward when you get the chance. It's a pretty rad dirt drive. This thing is made for the trails out in Yellowstone too!

Having a fixed comfy bed is so nice. We had a winebago 59 g and I could not sleep in the murphy bed. I want a small class c on a Mercedes chasy next to take grand kids with us on road trips. So fun! Congradulations!!

Congrats on the van. We picked our 2021 Revel in Iowa a few weeks ago. Got it with about 35 original miles. The drive back home to Texas was long but it was worth it. Loving it so far. We are planing for a long road trip next month up north and visit all the states and national parks (Yellowstone, etc), snowboarding at a few places, and then come down to CA (LA, OC, etc) to visit family. You guys have fun with your new van and hopefully we get to meet up on the road with our 2 revel vans.

2:22 that’s called “Lot Docking” when you “Boondocks” (no hookups) in a parking lot. Just make sure to check for No Overnight Parking signs as some places don’t allow it & you may get the dread knock at the door at 3a to move... 🚐 FYI Cracker Barrel is a good spot when you’re open the road as they allow for overnight parking, & you can grab a bite to eat as well. Cabella’s is another spot known for overnight lot docking. Wall-Mart is the most well known, although they are cutting back more & more due to people abusing the privilege. Watch some KZbin videos about Stealth Camping to get up to speed... P.S. I wish I knew you were in Chicago; as I’m from here, & still live here, & it would have been nice to have met you guys! 🤜🏽🤛🏽
