Hi Jac, I heard you speak yesterday on success profile 101 and I found it very useful Thank you. I have a question, can you negotiate your salary when you have been offered a job? All the vacancies I see always say you have to start at the lowest scale but since people negotiate in the private sector I was wondering if we can in the public sector too. Thank you

Hey! Glad you enjoyed the session yesterday. I’m pretty sure if you are already in the CS you can’t negotiate but if you are coming in from the private sector then there is potentially room to negotiate. I could be wrong but hopefully that helps.
