Exactly! That "America" cover is absolute perfection. They are amazing. I'm 42 growing up with 4 older brothers listening to Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Zepplin, The Who I have listened to so many covers of this song by amazing artists. I was skeptical even though I worship FAK, but they nailed it. This btw was my all time.dream.growing up, being able to cover this particular song stomping back and forth on stage with a huge audience. So glad to see these girls do it so well!

I'm Swedish but I think this is a bit of a hipster hijack of metal. Black Sabbath attracts some people for the wrong reason, because of the 70s retro thing and some superficial similarities to blues, Americana and old Vietnam hippie protest music. They're from the time of Easy Rider. Black Sabbath isn't good because they remind me of the era of their music; they're good because the music itself is good.

I have heard of this band before but I can't say that I have listen to them in any large amount but I might have to change that beacuse they intriuge me with their taste in music, are very beautiful, same age as me and also Swedish like me. My dad is a big Sabbath fan and I used to wake up to their songs during the weekends when he blasted them loud on the stereo XD. I know that their music isen't like black sabbath's but hey they seem talented and I have a broad taste in music anyways.

There is a funny Swedish precedent in The Cardigans' love of Black Sabbath -- they covered 'Iron Man' in 'First Band on the Moon' and there are other nods in their early work -- but First Aid Kit nailed this one.

Yes, it would be terrible for Tony to see a band who gives lots of respect to one of Black Sabbath's best songs. Meanwhile Metallica's Enter Sandman is covered by some jazz artists and children groups. This is actually a very good version. I am a fan of both Sabbath and FAK. Maybe Tony isn't sexist. Maybe Tony understands and likes other styles than metal. Black Sabbath have had influences from various styles and they were meant to be a blues band.
