To be honest, not having to deal with wind makes dealing with chilly temperatures lot simpler. You can protect yourself from the cold, but not from the wind. Fortunately, the wind in New York has been minimal in recent days.

Today working outside was ok at 25° but last week 35 with wind was hell

It's so cold I had to cut open my tauntaun and climb inside. What's *really* scary is that that snow-scale goes up to 60". 5ft of snow. Yoiks.

Who would've imagined in a million years that there'd be more snow in New Orleans' French Quarter than New York's Central Park and not just on the ground now, but for the entire winter season?
