There you go 💯 on the victory lap! Now they know you can record in public. Well done. It's a shame that officers are so ill informed on the laws and our rights. They need education in a serious way.

Put a complaint with IAD on the racist cop telling you that you can't be there and you're baiting him. He will HAVE to go through an internal affairs investigation where they check his text and body cam for racist comments. That's how change comes. The cops need to be afraid of denying rights to photograph in public.

@TTA42800 hey dummy assault has a harm component it's why you get charged for spitting on someone but not touching their shoulder. Your action has to have intent to cause harm. Second when a government rents a building the landlord still retains rights, it doesn't magically make the building government owned. If you rent a house can you turn it into a hostel? If you space for a grocery store can you run go hmm i changed my mind massage Parlor. Hint no. Keep being ignorant it's funny a street thug act like he is intelligent and respects rules and laws.
@Borninamerica645 ай бұрын
FYI, if the government rents a building, you still have the same right as if the owned it. It’s government business.

That tired old dirty cop doesn't need to be retired... He MUST be FIRED After 20+ years on the job he doesn't know basic laws like criminal trespassing & assault nor more complex eavesdropping laws. Like 99% of cops he doesn't know the difference between private & public property and can't comprehend that when government leases a private building that the areas occupied by government offices, the main lobby and access points to the govt offices (hallways, stairs, elevators etc.) are considered public in law. Then he lied and said staff had asked TTA to leave and when called out said that asking TTA to stop recording is the same as asking you to leave and that it's state law that you must stop recording if asked saying it's a 2 party state (eavesdropping law) and that the public area of the public office that TTA was in, is a private office If everything, or anything the old fascist was claiming s true then why didn't he arrest him for criminal trespassing and/or eavesdropping? Especially when the cop showed how determined he was to arrest TTA by admitting that's he's trying and believes he'll get charges filed for a previous audit "because it's gone up to the chief". Seems to believe the chief can override the constitution and the law - I guess they're used to doing that with people that don't know their rights He also stated that none of other "freedom guys" (meaning 1A auditors) are not practicing their right of freedom of press in public buildings any more because now they agree with the tired old dirty cop that filming in public buildings is a crime. All cops are liars but this cop is a special type of liar; a fantasist who intersperses his lies with the most ridiculous shit you'll ever hear in an effort to convince himself he's right. Usually in situations like this the other officers would chip in to support their fellow gang member, to give bad analogies that support the lies but in this case the other cops were eating donuts 🍩🍩🍩

@moparman1962 Жыл бұрын
Most cops are VERY BLISSFUL...right up until they are challenged by someone who know on WHAT IS lawful, legal, constitutional, a 100% protected activity, a guaranteed freedom of press free speech thing and/or something THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OVER AT ALL as long as there is no unlawful disturbance or disorderly conduct ACTUALLY BEING CAUSED BY the auditor. Then the cops' bliss starts leaking out fast like water from a cracked pipe. ;)

Every state needs to pass STRONG LAWS REQUIRING cameras to be recording in public areas inside buildings...because OBVIOUSLY there is a NEED for that to PROTECT everyone's rights, before, during and after some form of attack. We the People (public) don't have any reasonable expectation of privacy in a public place already, and neither SHOULD any government worker bees have such privacy (and thus the ability to simply lie if something happens).

These are the people who are supposed to have the intelligence to determine if a child should remain in their home ? So these people who don’t know the law , are also responsible for deciding if a parent has broken laws that could lead to them not having custody of their children? This employee who put his hands on you not only needs to be arrested, but should also loose his job, especially if it involves children being in close proximity to him. He clearly doesn’t have the ability to refrain from putting his hands on someone. THIS EMPLOYEE IS CLEARLY UNSTABLE. I hope everyone calls and demands this employee be arrested and removed. All of his cases need to be investigated as he clearly is not stable .

The building is private property but "open to the public" during business hours (time manner place restrictions) else if it was private property and posted no trespass, nobody would be able to enter the building to get services. Your rights can be restricted since the office is not a traditional public forum. However, your conduct is well within reasonableness to not warrant a disorderly conduct and you were never asked to leave so cannot be trespassed. The other officer is colluding behind closed doors with the state official to try and get him off the hook, but if the tables were turned, they wouldn't bat an eye to arrest you. Pure example of corruption. Keep up the great work!

First woman: "This isn't government, this is state." Failure of the US Education system. "You should obey me", her ego out of control. And Gray-haired cop: either pure ignorance, straight-faced liar, or listening to a supervisor who is pure ignorant or pure liar. "Just waiting for someone to sign a complaint". Once again, congratulations on your self-control. And he needs to meet some one who is NOT as POLITE as you. He has no clue. And PLEASE don't stop! I think it's VERY important that this P.D. not only needs to learn the law, but they need to learn to Respect people with cameras. I Despise how Gray hair smiles as he brags how every other auditor has given up when they showed them the law. I bet that's cop-speak for arrested them, threatened them, and intimidated them (goodness know how, cops are great at harassment). Please be careful out there. If I lived closer, I'd love to be a back-up camera person for you. Don't ever trust any of them. I'm jumping ahead with this, but in order to be ready for this slimy-seeming department's future retaliation: Start a savings account to fund a lawsuit. Be ready at any time for an arrest, stacked charges, an attempt at giving you a fake 'deal', a lower-level judge/magistrate saying guilty, filing an appeal, etc. Get all body camera footage ASAP. Get all reports, calls, documentation ASAP. Research the laws in your state in regards to time limitations to file a lawsuit. If charges get filed the prosecutor's office will do everything possible to drag out the legal process so you miss out on the date to file a civil rights lawsuit. Very common tactic.
