can't blame Mark for trying everything possible to get this organization where a 500 record is considered bad. I just don't know where he'd go if Brady proves to be a dud at picking a coach/gm/QB. Just got to keep fingers crossed that in a couple of years things will turn for the better.

I think firing Tom Telesco without securing a new Head Coach "First" was a huge mistake, for it implies further instability within the organization. With the exception of letting Josh Jacobs go, hiring Getsy, and bringing in Minshew, Telesco did an outstanding job in the NFL Draft, in addition to ensuring our salary cap situation is one of the best in the NFL. If anything Davis should have waited unless he was assured that a HC prospect guaranteed they would sign with the Raiders "first", not all head coaching prospects have required that they bring in their own GM with the exception of Ben Johnson. And I don't think Johnson is a shoe-in, in terms of being a good Head Coach. He may be a great OC but it remains to be seen that he can be a great HC. Vrabel is and we're not even interviewing him, he hasn't signed with New England, we should have brought him in for an interview. The fact that we haven't tells me the Raiders will blow it in some aspect once again.
