What do you think of converting old planes to naval bombers instead of selling them as a nation like Germany? It would be a good way to make up for lack of naval domincance, I think.

Just build your cas to little different: I usual use 1 bomb lock, 1 bomb bay and then i add the best torpedo i got. This design is extremly good if you want to be flexiable in war without wasting your industry on niche equipment such as naval bomber

I found out using Maritime Naval Patrol (heavy bomber + torpedo) are very effective, and occupy much less space for heavy or light fighter I made 70 Air defense bomber with 24 Nav attack and bonuses, it shread UK navy like grated cheese

@@KaizerKlash111 you can put up to 3 torpedo in 1 aircraft with its respective engine in its period It's only viable if you are Japan after conquering Singapore With wooden structure and self-sealing fuel tank, you have a basic heavy bomber (I) that cost no aluminium and only extra rubbers Put 3x torpedo I And Extra fuel tank And either air-to-Ground radio or a flying boat module It's expensive, but 10 marine patrol bomber is enough menace for every capital ship made by AI

If anyones curious, the 50% buffs in the mio were a typo from paradox, and have been significantly reduced. You can still absolutely smother the ai with planes either way!

What was your cas template? Damage was ridiculously low, when you put just 3 bombs on small airframe you still can get 10 to 15 cas damage per tick with only 200 planes

if you hold shift while clicking on the mio upgrades you can add them to a queue and the game will automatically upgrade the mio when it has a level up

I’ve found that heavy fighters with two light machine guns and loaded with bomb locks and the typical armor plates and extra fuel tanks does magic. I consistently reach like 40 ground attack as the UK

Yes I have been putting 1-2xCannon and 2-4xHMG, with best engine and any special mods you want, and consistently will shred the entire world's airforce. I've experimented with the build as well and until the AI gets improved airframes, 3-4xHMGs will suffice with no cannons!

Once you get Fighter with 3 quad HMG every air defense is irrelevant, unless you are fighting player-made Strategic bomber

Tank guns are subpar for a plane, obviously, but even early 20mm autocannons already basically fired grenades. Extremely deadly to wooden and thin aluminium aircraft.

Talking about exploits, i found one just sec ago!!! Works with captured ships, only heavy crusiers and battleships. Bassicly you can change their design, and there will be no refit!!! GODDAMN CRAZY!!! P.S. you have to carfully chose what module you save, for example for my captured battleship i coudn't add aditional batteries and uprade fire control system. But i did upgrade existing heavy batteries, and AA guns.

i just go with small air frames and then stack all the agility options to the max and even 600 planes do shred 2000 enemy with ratio of 2: 14

MIO are great for the first few games, after that is frustrating to click. Every few minutes you get notification to level up MIO, than you have to select upgrade, then update design, than update production and so on...

I wish the British contribution to the air would have been less 😭 if only they ticked the CAS and logistics strike box and not the strategic one. Or chose another air doctrine branch. Bomber Harris was a cruel man. Not unjustified at all. Germany had it coming. But it was in retrospective useless. It didn't break the Germans at all. It destroyed 1000 years of culture tho and now we have all those ugly cities.
