Hi ☺️ so glad you’ve reacted to ATEEZ! They’re my favourite group! Maybe I can leave you some info about them to help you learn about them a bit better? The blonde that caught your eye in Halazia was Seonghwa! Yes, he’s incredibly majestic, and an all-rounder! He’s very focused on delivering a performance full of emotion and connection. Hongjoong (the captain) was the one who opened wonderland. He’s a genius lyricist and no two raps of his sound the same! Yunho has an incredible vocal range (I like to call him a vocal chameleon hehe) and his voice can do many things. On top of that, choreography and dancing is one of his strongest suits, and he learns dances almost instantaneously. Yeosang was the one with the really deep voice in Halazia. He’s a real sweetie pie and his voice is so captivating. Also, the fandom is absolutely entranced by his visuals! San is the one who was pulling the chain towards the end of Halazia. He’s been named as “the man who will raise the standards for performance in kpop”. Mingi - the deep voiced rapper! I understand why he has you so captivated, I was the same! He is also a mastermind with lyrics (Hongjoong and Mingi always write their own). There have been times where he’s written his lyrics hours before recording. He’s also an amazing dancer. Wooyoung was the one with red hair in Halazia, and was trapped in the chains in Wonderland. He has a couple of dance solos - “Bad” (AOTM) and “Logic 1-800”. Jongho is our powerhouse maknae! He also has an amazing vocal range. While his high notes are mind blowing, his lower range is also just as captivating. He’s released a number of OSTs which showcase his skills! ATEEZ as a whole are a very theatrical group, and focus on producing art that you’re most likely to see in a theatre. Acting is key for them, and they’re not afraid to incorporate humour, angst, heartbreak, and many other things in their music! What’s so crazy is those vocals are just as good if not more live. I went to their concert in New York. You should check out their remake of Wonderland called Wonderland (Symphony 9) because Jongho’s vocals are CRAZY and Seongwha’s epic visuals go HARD.

You did see Wooyoung, but I understand the confusion with hair color/style changes between m/v's and all the action on screen. If you want a good sampling of their songs, I'd check out their episode of Killing Voice. They're singing/rapping live and they do parts of 17 of their songs. It is amazing. I love their Immortal Songs performances. It's a show that honors an artist by having others perform reinterpreted versions of their songs. Performers don't use autotune and have to sing live. Ateez has performed 6 times and won 4. (KBS tends to claim these videos, so probably watch off camera.) Symphony from the Wonderland is incredible. Definitely watch it offline or be prepared for mnet to claim it. SKZ and ATZ are musically adjacent, and I think you picked out the key differences. Though SKZ has great vocalists and ATZ has great rappers, SKZ's music leans more to rap and ATZ's leans more to vocals. I would describe SKZ's music as leaning experimental while I would describe ATZ's as leaning grand or cinematic (as you noticed). You mentioned them being theatrical--I recently read a rave review of their US tour which said the same thing. This should help you with the members. I tried to stamp each member once for each song, more if I remembered you pointed them out. BTW, you did notice Wooyoung in the MVs. Jongho can belt in a high mixed voice, but Hongjoong and Wooyoung also have voices that are naturally on the high side. The videos tell a story, so they make more sense in order.

Seonghwa= beautiful/handsome mother. Ateez are amazing vocalists and performers coming from a small company that deliver some of the most awesome music and performers. Let's just say the Mic's are On in live performances and they eat their own CD's, it's so dang good. I mentioned small company because only two groups actually come from it, ATEEZ and their babies XIKERS. Just stumbled upon your video (I love ATEEZ reaction vids!) and yours is awesome. :) If you’re a Stray Kids fan and like what you’re hearing from ATEEZ, may I recommend watching the Kingdom performances, including the “Mayfly” group (Stray Kids/ATEEZ/BTOB combined). Watch them on your own (you’ll get copyright strike if you try to react). Unfortunately Mingi was on a metal health hiatus at the time, but it will give you some context about their lore as well as showcase some of their performance personalities. Seonghwa is elegant. He’s genderfluid for sure. Hongjoong (the Captain!) is extremely hard working and does a lot of their writing and producing. Yunho is a big, goofy puppy and he and Mingi are besties. Yeosang is both sweet and savage (he’s the guy with the deeper voice in Halazia). San gets very animated on stage, but is extra sweet and cuddly. He and Wooyoung are besties in the group and have matching tattoos. Mingi during their Coachella performances is something you MUST see. Wooyoung (the guy with the red hair in Halazia) is an insane dancer- watch his Studio Choom Artist of the month. Jongho is like an old man maknae- he is EXTREMELY strong and his vocals are unmatched. He’s the most mature of all of them! He can break apples in half with his bare hands (while singing!) You must watch the 2024 guide to ATEEZ from bunhongjoong. It’s long, but you will get a better idea about who they are. Also, their Killing Voice is worth a watch. Mingi was sick, but it didn’t stop him.

I went to their concert once and their live vocals and energy were out of this world!! have you happened to stumble upon their coachella clips? Their Kingdom stages are all good (i cant remember the exact titles🙏🏻🙏🏻 but you should be able to find them easily) and for Immortal Song stage, I would suggest "black cat nero", they even posted an official music video for that cover after their performance received positive feedback. if you feel like diving more into Ateez, then you should definitely check out their b-sides! if you like darker songs like Halazia, i would suggest listening to their album "The World Ep. 2: Outlaw" which is definitely my favourite from them (no skip from me). hope you find enjoyment through Ateez! :)))
