People have to realize that Matchups alone aren't what determines who will win. Just because a character is more likely to lose, that doesn't mean that the PLAYER will. Smash is more than just a battle of "good character beats bad character" like some Rock Paper Scissors thing. At the end of the day it's a PVP game and characters are just tools wielded by the players who then must optimize them.

I agree with you, but smash bros is a rather specific case in my opinion, it can be interesting to notify the mu when it is really important to understand the progress of the match. But I find that in this case the mu doesn't really matter anymore because even if we could believe that fox has the advantage, we must not forget that he remains an extremely demanding character and that DK punished very hard without forget that it is very heavy which can pose a big problem for fox

Is it that horrible? Fast faller makes ding dong work at more percents. Fox lacks downward facing hitboxes to spike DK's recovery. DK has TONS of ways to stuff out Fox's recovery. I bet it's only 6-4 Fox's favor.

@@uberculex fox has a very safe neutral, dk doesn’t have very fast oos options to beat fox’s safe attempted approaches. Since neutral is key to win I’d say it’s very bad for dk, although fox is a glass canon so there’s some hope
