For a f2p player i rate it 9/10,its gives me a chance to challenge difficult missions that i couldnt beat at first,honestly its not as bad even tho it takes time to grind it well worth it

The devs really need to take a look at the drop rate for a bunch of things. The Tempest Harvest quests, because they don't always drop food, which is why I only do first time clears and never PP them. The Daily Predator Battle quests, because Expert mostly drops silver items instead of gold/rainbow items. And now these EX Ability Release quests, because they don't even guarantee 3 rocks per run, making them WORSE than the Daily Predator Battle, which I honestly did not think was possible. The EX Ability Release is an interesting mechanic. I think I would have preferred a relic system though where you could potentially provide a bigger boost to one substat for each character. And depending on your team you would choose to maximize pierce or crit for example. But maybe they will still do that in the future.

Actually I think it does work bringing the right element I think u were just unlucky the least amount I got was 3 stones doing it with the correct element

Yes the 3% same type boost does work in the support slot, but nothing else does.
