I have cooked bbq for friends and family. My question is how are you deciding what to charge for the price of bbq with meat prices and your time? I don't want to gouge my friends but in the same way I need to make it worth my time as pop up as well.

Howdy! See what others in the area charging and stick around that. Most people don’t want to pay but it’s your time and resources so make sure you charge so it’s worth it.

Hi, congratulations your food looks good. Im brand new to smoking and bbq, would you mind if i ask you a question? Im from South Africa and need some help, in your video you mentioned you got orders (before) you cooked, my question is how did you get the orders if not friends and family? As i mentioned im brand new and am looking for a way to start selling bbq ( starting off very small of course) and any insite or info you can offer would be appreciated. Also new to social media (purposely stayed away, but seems like have to be on and engaged to get any type of outside friends and family sales. Btw the hat suits you

Hello! Thanks for your comment. I started posting on my personal social media - that way only my family and close friends would see it. I suggest you start by hosting free BBQs to your closet circle. That way they can try it and over time they will want to order from you. I would also start by posting short videos/pics of the final product so you can let others know what you make and offer.
