Just put a lot of real salted butter on the Jälkiuunileipä. You can put also cheese and everything you can find in your beautiful Italian Deli meat shops on top. ;) Tyrkish Peber is also salmiakki. It is what makes Salmiakkikossu when you melt it and mix with vodka.

The bread cheese is also known as “squeaky cheese”. IMO it’s best if you fry it on a pan and of course cloudberry jam.

That's not beer, it's lonkero aka Finnish long drink. Fun fact: Lonkero was originally made for the 1952 Summer Olympics and Finland is still the smallest nation that has been able to organize the Olympic Games.

My parents moved from Finland to Sweden in 1954, so I grew up in Sweden but with lots of the Finnish traditions. My mum used to make "vispi-puuro", and I loved it. The main ingredient is lingonberry and we ate it with milk. Have to try to find the recipe.

There is no correct way to eat turkis pepper but the best is just suck it... Its sucking candy and the present 🎉 is to get the salmiakki powder to brake. 🥰

Those candy, you must have "apteekin salmiakki". Sold only from pharmacy and for reason.... little pit of salmiakki rise you blood. Other use for turkish pepper salmiakki is a salmiakki-shot, take like a vodka and put salmiakki on pottle. Open like 6 hours and you have salmiakkivodka

Those "turkin pippurit" (turkish peber) are harsh - if you bite them :) So don't! Put them in your mouth and gently move them about - so that they slowly dissolve. Then you can very carefully suck them, and they release the salmiakki which is stored inside - and then it hits the roof of your mouth. It's like fireworks. Do it this way, and it really tickles your funny bone :)
