First Black Lt. Gov. of NC Touts 'Common Sense Conservatism' in Quest for Governorship

RALEIGH, North Carolina - We're just weeks away from 2024 when election season will get into high gear. In North Carolina, the first black American to be elected lieutenant governor is setting his sights on the top spot.
Mark Robinson is a man devoted to his faith, family, and the people of his state. CBN News sat down with Robinson who talked about his conservative beliefs and what it's like to swim upstream as a black Republican.
A fiery speech five years ago in a Greensboro City Council meeting put Robinson on the political map.

I don't live in North Carolina but hope and pray he is elected governor. He is a good example of a Christian man. I volunteer for Samaritan's Purse which is based in North Carolina. Headed by Franklin Graham son of Billy Graham. We are different races helping all people despite their race when natural disaster strikes their homes. It is a thrill and honor to help them Billy Graham a North Carolina native in. The early days of his ministry would not let the races be kept separated at his meetings He was way ahead of his time. A very moral and Christian man.

He has negative vibes. He exudes abuser vibes, and the Wikipedia page gives possible clues about his character. But there are concrete reasons for his being scary. He is a Holocaust denier. He referred to accounts of Jewish people being in concentration camps as a "bunch of hogwash." He said that he wants to go back to the time women didn't have the right to vote. Mark Robinson is obviously against the LGBTQ Two Spirit community. The people saying they are going to vote for him may turn out to be very sorry and maybe even scared if he gets into office, but, from what it seems, people are losing the ability to look beyond what's in front of them.
