Ok this video is a project I’ve been working on for about two weeks now and it discusses the differences between First Blood the book and film.
I focus primarily on the plot and different aspects that differentiate from book and it’s themes.

Original Rambo always was one of my favorites growing up in the Pacific Northwest. Those forests are where I came of age. Hunted many years in those old growth evergreens. We knew it was filmed out here even back then without internet to tell us. It's a beautiful and unique place in America. Perfect backdrop for this film. Also, thanks for the kind words regarding Korean War vets. My Grandpa was such a vet. Didn't know much about his service other than he manned a machine gun on a riverboat doing river patrols. Never talked about it, but im sure he saw some things that are hard to forget. Resting in peace with my grandma. Thanks for the video.

Fascinating breakdown. Really loved the movie. Obviously, I first watched it a long time ago. Had no idea that like most great films, the story originated from a book. Thankful the movie didn't end in a suicide and spawned into a series of great quintessential 80's/90's action movies.
