I read a few of Jim Gaffigan's books back when I was too snobby to log them on Goodreads.. (Didn't log any romance or comedy.. Don't know what was wrong with me.. lol) I think I liked Dad is Fat better than Food a Love Story. I do love his sense of humor and his comedy is usually pretty clean other than the occasional mild swear word.

Ok I just wanna know why the hell there are so many negative reviews of Zenith when it hasn’t even come out yet??? It has an average of 3.0/5 and I don’t get why. It’s so confusing.

Zenith came out as an ebook before it was picked up by a publisher, so a lot of people rated that when it came out. Maybe you're looking at that one?

WhittyNovels Well, the thing is that I saw the reviews for Zenith part 1 were really bad, so I went to check on the actual full book’s goodreads page and there are already a bunch of negative reviews. So I actually went in and read some of them, and the main complaint is that it was edited by the same people who edited The Black Witch (which you probably already know caused a lot of controversy over the racism claims) and people were immediately assuming there was going to be awful representation in it or something. I just don’t see why people would rate a book so poorly if they haven’t even gotten the chance to read it and just basing their opinion on an editor.

Dad is Fat on audiobook is great. The book is really funny but it focuses mostly on his life as a husband and father rather than other themes he brings up in his stand ups. Even though it was different than his stand ups I definitely enjoyed it anyway though.
