Just started getting heavy into BBQing/smoking over a year ago, your one of my favorites I have found Mr Ry! Great quality videos, the camera work is perfect, and as others have stated, the soothing instrument music is awesome and totally different from other big KZbinrs. Keep up the great work!

Alright Ry… I pulled the trigger and got the 800 model! It comes with a flattop grill attachment for doing Philly cheesesteak, bacon and eggs amongst other things… That brisket looked amazing and was the final straw! I have to try the gravity fed charcoal smoker now and this video sealed the deal! 😂😂 Ry, you’re amazing dude!!

I went with the char griller 980 gravity feed and love it. Getting to temp fast is pretty common but I like to let it sit another 15-30 min just to get stable. I also only mix wood in with the charcoal.

Those gravity series hot spots tend to be at the back left. I’d try turning that point around to that side. I have really good luck with mine in that orientation

Thanks for the heads up 👍

I end up rotating mine every hour to two hours to help with that.

A very wonderful sight. The brisket looks amazing. Cheers, Ry! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
When I saw the Masterbuilt display my brain interpreted it as "25 IF" . It reminded me of the Beatles Abbey Road album cover. "28 IF" on the Beatle license plate =^) That was a beauty brisket cook. Unhinge that jaw!

How much fuel did you end up going through at that temp? Any refills?

What size is the grill grates? I have the master built 545 and this 600 gravity series doesn't look much bigger....

Did the red oak burn at all like you thought it would?

It did. Glad that several people gave me that tip.

Don’t know what it’s like in the US but that’s about $20 worth of seasoning you put on there.
@CookingWithRy3 ай бұрын
Probably about $5 here.
