I don’t see anyone talking about how incredibly genius this was. Maybe I’m not scrolling enough but, I watch this way more than I should. The way she incorporated the four different phases Eliza went through during this time was just so amazing. Her cute lovesick phase. Her wedding phase. The Burning phase. And finally the phase she went through after the death of her son. Each version got progressively more upset and hurt. I think that is genuinely shown at the end of the video when all four are screaming ‘Mine’. Cute Eliza said it kinda of softly but with an edge. Burning Eliza got more intense and loud. Wedding Eliza backed back down and was soft spoken as she would have probably been most hurt in that state because duh, wedding. And finally, our poor Eliza after all of this. She screamed it the loudest. Pent up anger and sadness bursting out of her like hot magma. It just hits in a different way. I don’t know. I just didn’t see any comments about that.

With the first one just a mixture of anger, sadness, betrayal, and just sort of despair, the second one being more angry and revolted at the whole ordeal, the third one being the “youngest” Eliza (wedding-age) who is completely torn up and seems to be the most emotional in a sad aspect, and then the last one in the “Philip’s death” age who seems to be the most composed, and speaks only to hurt him, not as an outlet to her emotions. At least this is what I take away from it. I LOVE IT😁😁

But fortunately Eliza forgives him and was still so in love with him she managed to put every thing aside for her husband who could never be satisfied. And finally, after he dies in the duel with Aaron Burr in the same place his son died and raising his pistol to the sky, Eliza does so much to preserve his legacy and creates her own. So yeah. this one made me so much more emotional than any other animatic ive seen. it’s just, the way you portrayed the lyrics and eliza’s reactions to what she was saying was so, wow. the expressions were on point and made it clear what she was feeling. then alexander waking up after the dont is just so clever? i always felt that the don’t at the end was abrupt and always left me wondering what was supposed to take place after that and with what you did is honestly genius?? and then you showed that alexander messed up more than once? you made it seem as though eliza saw it happen but luliterallt no one else and that’s just AMAZING. you also managed to show all the emotions that (i personally) feel the music video portrays. everything screams agony, sadness, and anger and that is truly amazing. i saw the musical last year and i didnt even notice all of this until i saw it here. this is honestly just so good, the art, flow, and storytelling are all amazing. you should really be proud; this is amazing!

The Eliza burning the letters is angry, cold, and unforgiving. The Helpless bride Eliza is heartbroken and teary eyed. The Mourning Eliza is disappointed (she doesnt get much screentime so I wasnt really able to convey that much) And the "main" Eliza is kind of a mishmash of all of them haha!

Dang. I haven't seen an animatic so powerful ever. The way you showed Eliza's facial expressions and tears, along with Alex's haunted face were completely heart-wrenching and painful. The flow of your animatics have always been my favorite, not fast enough that they become sloppy, but seamlessly beautiful. The fact that you brought Phillip into this was just a kick to the feels but also so geniusly brilliant and it fits perfectly with the song. And the way you showed Eliza as four different personas of herself to fit with the vocals and had them disappear one by one??? Can we just appreciate that scene for a second?? Well enough of my rambles. Now if you'll excuse me, I got so many chills after watching this I need to go put on a sweater.
