What a great video! I love it when you step out of a comfort zone. It's so kool to see you in your C/10. Best part is hearing you complain about the machinal linkage on the clutch and the 4 speed Hurst shifter! Just classic stuff, Love it!

For starters you need a Mini spool in that diff "one is none". All in all you are off to a great start! Next a line lock with a simple on-off switch is the next step but I would highly recommend a ball valve to interrupt the rear brakes or (no rear brakes just for the skids) if you want to street and burnout the C10 (owning the brakes gives much more control). Next get it to run Meth so you don't cook the motor (longer run + two blowen tires = more points). May I also suggest steel wheels as they do not break apart and some tire cutters (sharpened mild steel on the back edge) on you rear guards for crowd safety to prevent giant chunks of tire hitting mom and dad in the stands. #friendlyfire #girlsforthewin Just a Aussie Burnout Master helping out. My brother had a 72’ C10 long bed when he was in high school. The body was perfect. When he bought it - it had a 350 in it. He had it bored over to 383. And it sounded soo great. It originally was three on the tree - but he dropped it down into the floor. He ended up selling it to an older gentleman that ended up finishing it out. He painted it orange too. He kicks himself in the ass all the time for selling that thing.

A girl I went to high school with in the late 90's had an orange and white c-10 long bed like yours and it looked like it would have brand new on the lot. Amazing truck. Then there was a guy I was in school with that had a long bed '72 that was forest green and white. Beautiful trucks. Oh, my vote is for a rotary powered mini truck if you do a burnout truck.

Definitely need a posi in the daily and putting a rotary engine in that would be a downgrade so LS or LT swap would be the best option. Your girlfriend is running a LS in her Dodge and killing the competition. So there's a good indication of what the top competitor is using. Putting a rotary in this truck would be like having a brig's and Stratton lawn mower engine in a drift car you will fight hard to be competitive and would be planning a motor swap within the year.
