I'm glad you opted for a proper toastie maker because I bought the microwave one that was all over TikTok a couple of months ago and it's dreadful. It completely nukes the filling and the edges of the bread become rock hard to the point of being inedible. Waste of twenty quid 😭 I bet you'd have some fun with a time-lapse camera on that beautiful big garden 🍂❄🌞🌷

Thank you for taking the time to share your Christmas with us…. I’ve been using my kettle too….😬 I love that George can’t wait to open his gifts… He actually looked remorseful…🥰 We are twining again, my daughter and her husband got me the Birdbuddy and handmade soap… 🤣 My son and his wife, got me the Resiners pro bubble remover, and my husband got me the Istoyo mixer…. You know what I’m going to be playing with…😄 I was not on the air fryer band wagon either, but a friend gave me one that she never used ( Ninja foodie grill and air fryer), I rarely use my oven or cooktop anymore… So much quicker and easier to clean… You are spoiled for choice with the electric kettles, our Walmart has three choices…😒 Our Christmas dinner was meh also, the food was cooked beautifully, but couldn’t keep it hot… My old range had a warming drawer, the new one doesn’t…. I’m never replacing appliances again…The old ones were better…. 🤣 Have a happy New Years, we aren’t going anywhere either, just having family game night… I sent my daughter the link for the Karen game….As always, love to George!!!

Claire - we have a slow cooked ham/gammon - but we have it on Boxing Day with chips, egg and mushy peas! It's a great way to get over the rich food eaten on Christmas Day 😁

What a great vlog Claire! I know what you mean about the toys for gorgeous George! The best thing I got for willow was like a large weebal wobble that she has to chase and move to get a treat from and the hole is so small that if I put a couple of big chunks in … don’t judge .. but it keeps her occupied for a good 10 15 minutes 😂 she loves chasing it! I’ve had it for around 5 years now and of course I put small ones in also ❤ all the very best for 2025! You’re gonna smash it on both channels I can see it! ❤❤ much love to you and yours ! Why would we not stay till the end?! 😂 Tfs your Christmas and gifts. For the past 7/8 years we've done secret Santa and we spend up to £100 each on one person. Works out so much better for us all. We have 2 grown-up daughters who are both December babies ... some would say bad planning. I say no planning whatsoever 😅. We were in Tesco at 5.30am on Christmas Eve. Great decision, loads of stock, and pretty much had the place to ourselves! Spent Christmas day at our youngest's, and everyone came to ours on Boxing Day. Bought the Karen game, we do love a board game the whole family can enjoy, so thanks for that 😊. Currently settling down to enjoy NYE at home, weather is appalling here in Scotland! Happy New Year to you all 🎉🍹🎆 x

In 2023 we got an air fryer, within a few short weeks we gave it to our daughter and she loves it. I also had to buy a cooker in November and got an electric one. I don't like gas cookers. Oh, Claire, THANK YOU for playing Christmas music even after Christmas! Over in the States, it stops with a screeching halt at midnight on Christmas Day, and it didn't used to...I miss it so, so much. Well, I've no idea what a gammon is (sp?), but ham is popular in the States, for Christmas. We don't generally eat it, either, though. Just don't love it. We usually have a standing prime rib roast for our Christmas dinner. George is HILARIOUS! And *sooo cute!* 😍😅 He sure got some great gifts! A Karen game??? Oh, my word! I feel badly for the ladies named Karen! Poor things sure have put up with a lot the last few years, yeah? Ohhh, the birds sound LOVELY! Your camera did a great job with the sound! 😍💕🙏 So many different kinds! Oh, PLEASE demo your sandwich thingie?? Pretty please? 🙏🙏 Show us how you all make your toasties, especially the cheese ones? I have never seen anything like that! I LOVE 😍 your wildlife camera, girl! What a *WONDERFUL* gift! 💕👍 We LOVE our air fryer! Ours brown things wonderfully! BTW: gas ovens cook beautifully - MUCH better than electric (I *hate* electric cooking, and that's all I have), so have your thermostat checked, or whatever it's called! Bet it's gone off...badly! Sounds like the previous owner didn't maintain a thing!

We bought a gammon joint and turkey crown for Christmas dinner lol most people i know like turkey lol I'm in the Midlands. Air fryers are great for roastcveg we did carrots and parsnips in ours Christmas day they were lovely.

I was so excited to get our wild life camera as we live in the country, Virginia USA. We have deer, coyotes, bear, turkey, rabbits, groundhogs and so much more here. OH talking about birds of prey - we have the most magnificent vultures here. I'm talking 10-12 foot wing span! They're ugly and glorious LOL I can't dis the vultures too much as my husbands "side kick" on his show is a vulture LOL Anywho, I'm glad you have a lovely Christmas dear! I was blessed in getting sooooooo many craft supplies (Got my Resiners Air Purifier the day after! LOL) and got 3 mini models to assemble (two are already done lol!) Having to take a break now because my hands are simply shattered. I'm excited to see what wildlife you capture and maybe watching you I can figure out mine too LOL Mine is supposed to sync up with the wifi and I think that's part of our issue... anyway, see you next year Claire!!

Ahhhh yes yes - so he has been Grey since birth but - the Grey is just in some areas and when his hair grows long - it takes over lol - when we get him groomed he goes back to Black :) lol

Cathy I absolutely 100% do yes - so we realised this - the meat was on a low heat and the potatoes had no chance whatsoever :( but now we have the air fryer we can cook them separately :)

It will take you being there, but use tin cans. Put a treat under 1 and shuffle them, let George figure out which 1 the treat is under. To make it harder, he's not allowed to have the treat unless he gets the right 1.

Heyyyyyyy lovely - this is a Sensio from Amazon - I do not recommend :( it doesnt actually brown the bread much - I mean it does cut the bread down the centre - and they taste amazing - but they're not lovely and brown
