First cigarette smoke three days after birth - Need for smoke-free places

"My THREE weeks old son inhaled his first cigarette smoke when he was THREE days old. Lots of people were smoking at the entrance of the hospital when we left after his birth. The following days and weeks he was further exposed to cigarettes on a terrace, at a tram stop and in a park."
In all these places the ground is littered with toxic cigarette butts that end up in the sewers and the aquatic environment.
For the health of our children and for the health of the environment we ask you to sign our petition for the first smoke-free park in Brussels. It could be the first of many and one step closer to smoke-free terraces, entrances of buildings and public transport stops.
