I don't know if you were aware but the facade of Lille Flandres is in fact the original facade of the Gare du Nord in Paris, dating from the 1840s. It was dismantled and shipped to Lille in the 1860s when the Gare du Nord was being expanded (as it has been almost permanently ever since...I doubt it'll ever be big enough for what it's expected to handle!!).

Yesiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! A TGV! THE TGV ! The best train in the world. It represents happiness for me. I love all TGVs. My favorite lines are those of happiness, Marseille / Disneyland TGV and Marseille / Paris. A happiness, an intense joy seizes me as soon as I take a TGV, any one. It's my favorite train in the world. I love all the TGVs: Ouigo, which we take very frequently on the lines of happiness, Inoui also on the lines of happiness and all the others. It's splendid. It is happiness for me. Your video represents happiness. Needless to say, this is my favorite video on your channel. Thanks to you, nonstop eurotrip, for making me cry. I'm very emotive. I am happy.

In 2012 we took the TGV to Calais for the ferry to the UK and returned on Eurostar. Both great trips, but the best thing was the old indicator board at Gare du Nord.
