Why are their songs so catchy? You can hear a song of theirs once and have it stuck in your head for days. That's hard to pull off these days in an age where most music is formulaic. I love this band, so innovating and interesting.

Because they are truly jamming along and letting Music flow from them, is my opinion. Also a few of them in the band are related and I believe they’ve been together since they were in high school so they have each other figured out and shit. Their timing is great. And their music can uplift you or make you absolutely bawl your eyes out.

For once this song doesn’t make me think of a certain guy or a friend. It doesn’t remind me of how lucky I am to have someone. But to have myslef, how far I’ve come I’ve stopped so many bad habits, I have been working out every night to like myslef just that more. I could listen to this song on repeat because it gives me the confidence that has been lost for so long. I can see myslef working out to this song, hiking a mountain, making it to the Olympics, any of my greatest achievements to yet come I want to listen to this master piece I love you RKS I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I showed this song to my ex. I used to love hearing it, it was our song. Even after we break up, she continues to listen to it, but I can hardly bear hearing it anymore, now, it just brings me pain. It's like not only did she take all the love I could give, but beautiful things I love as well, leaving me with nothing but cold, silence in my mind and heart. Well, not just pain. I do enjoy it from time to time, maybe when I want to remember her extra badly that day. Like today. And wish things would have ended up different. I hope we make it out of this alive, baby.

Breakups are so hard. Hope you're okay.
@ninjabeast504 жыл бұрын
@@missionsquirrel It was really bad for a really long time, but I'm doing better now I think. It was so hard, because I genuinely thought she would be my forever and it was so hard to imagine a future without her and it is so easy to think nobody will ever love me like that again and I won't ever love anyone like that again, but I am much more optimistic now. The circumstances of our breakup made it even worse because she has been very depressed and it was hard to tell if she actually fell out of love with me or if her depression was just affecting how she felt about me. I was stuck in a limbo of still being very in love with her and knowing she didn't feel the same way anymore, but also not being sure if she actually didn't feel the same way anymore. I hope one day we'll get another shot, but everything happens for a reason though and if it isn't meant to be, I know that it is because there is someone else better for me out there, even if that's hard to picture right now. Either way, I deserve someone who can love and appreciate me as much as I love and appreciate them and that can't be her right now at least.

What I think this song is about: It's from the man's perspective speaking to a woman who he used to be involved with in a very intense and real way. In the beginning it was happy and fine, "water as warm as morning suns". They really loved each other; but it was almost too real, too passionate, and they couldn't work out because of their separate problems. The woman dreamed of being able to vacation "first class" and "works all day" to try to someday have that lifestyle. She was not born rich and was instead probably born into a family that struggled financially similar to the singer, "we were born splaying in the wreckage". They are able to be happy together. But after a while she isn't happy and complains all the time about the "bitches at work" and instead tries to drink away her problems, never asking about her partner and his issues, even though he listens to her and helps her out and he doesn't want to simply drink away his problems. He sings "I've got my baggage too" and "say you love me like you used to" implying she no longer finds happiness in him anymore and no longer wants to be in that happy loving relationship, though he wishes she did. She didn't see that he loved her sometimes, even when he did though and this caused her to become less happy. "Say you didn't see it that I saw right through you". She wants to be famous and have this perfect life where she gets married in Vegas and has some children and is a stereotypical version of success, but she's just faking herself. But he's fine now without the love they used to have, "I don't think quite like I used to, I got a bed to call my own". She is beautiful, though, and he's sarcastically telling her that "you'll die famous if it's any consolation" and claims that everyone will still love her because she is beautiful and is lovable, despite her issues.

In January she tried to visit me but was barred from entering my country because of visa issues. We had to break up as a result. Now this song hits even harder. It's such a perfect description of a broken relationship. Every line is so spot on. Thanks RKS for helping me through a tough time

Such relatable song, and by far my favourite by RKS
@Dysgyzed6 жыл бұрын
Nice. Very nice on that harmony ... this song opens in layers, swirls, and then blossoms into something full before striding into another blend effect ... multi-textured and wonderful.

Although I'm in love with everything RKS does and every word Sam Melo utters in complete perfection, this is my favorite song thus far. ❤️❤️👌👌

I have been trying to play music, create some kind of a melody with my friend a few days ago... And when i heard some of RKS songs, it made me realise, that it is so far for me to create such amazing music as this

@@neil4178 He's got balls. Men need help. Sometimes. The only times I cry are in my wife's arms and that is rare, but it's necessary. Every human needs to have an outlet, the pain turns to poison, and you slowly wither away from the person you once were. So yeah, I'm glad he posted about his issues because I give a shit.

I don't know you, your age, or how long you 2 have been together, but life and relationships are going to be hard as well as amazing. Life has the most amazing moments, especially with your girl, you both feel eternal and one fucking day shit starts shifting. No matter what is in motion don't blame yourself unless you're owning it. You will heal in time. I had to surround myself with friends when I was suffering heart break. Find yourself, what you really want to do, be free! I wish you a long life 9f love, prosperity, and happiness my friend. 🤘 🖤

"First Class" Say we'll get married on a porch in Vegas We can get hitched and have a couple of kids And none of them will look at all like us And our neighbors all will be a bit too much And you'll live out in the desert with a man you never loved Is this it? What you want? What you wanted? Do you need love? Am I enough for you? In time you'll find I've got my baggage too Say we'll get famous and we'll die with our names In every paper, every news report is any consolation To the people that you love and all the people that you hate But will love you all the same because you're beautiful Say you didn't see it, that I saw right through you Say you didn't mean it that I mean nothing to you Like you said Do you believe me? That I'll be right for you Say you love me like you used to We were born splaying in the wreckage Buried down on birds with stones I bore my weight upon your shoulders Water as warm as morning suns I don't think quite like I used to I got a bed to call my own I see stars and painted lies Broken glass upon your road Now I'm driving home too soon Woah woah Say you love me like you used to And we'll vacation first class I'm breaking your fall You're breaking my ass You're working all day Hating on all the bitches at work You say you're ok You're faking, fucked up You drinking all day, you give me a cup And I'll be damned if we can make it out of this alive, baby I say I'll be damned if we can make it out of this alive But is this what you want? What you wanted? Do you need love? Am I enough for you? In time you'll find I've got my baggage too Oh and say we'll get famous and we'll die with our names In every paper, every news report is any consolation To the people that you love and all the people that you hate But we'll love you all the same because you're beautiful Say you didn't see it, that I saw right through you Say you didn't mean it that I mean nothing to you Like you said do you believe me? That I'll be right for you Say you love me like you used to Woah Say you love me like you used to And we'll vacation first class I'm breaking your fall You're breaking my ass You're working all day Hating on all the bitches at work You say you're ok You're faking Fucked up! You drinking all day, you give me a cup And I'll be damned if we can make it out of this alive, baby! I say I'll be damned if we can make it out of this alive But is this what you want?
