I was on a flight from Munich to Atlanta one time and a drunk guy managed to take the drink cart and started handing out drinks to everyone. After being asked to sit back down he went into the lav and started smoking a cigarette. When we landed in Atlanta the first thing that happened after pulling up to the gate was five officers coming on board and arresting him. I also had a flight to Seoul where a woman stood up and collapsed. After clearing out a space for her and getting a doctor to check her out they declared that she had passed away and covered her with a sheet. After about an hour the woman sat up and started talking like nothing had happened. I have never heard so much screaming on a flight.

I once was on a flight and I picked a seat in the front, aisle side. I wanted to get off ASAP. It was a 2-aisle-2 seating arrangement. Next to me was a kid, probably 12 or something, and he showed to have Downs syndrome. No problem. But his mom came by and explained that she couldn't get them both together since the flight was booked, and the gentleman a few rows back wouldn't want to switch with her (he was aisle as well), and she asked me if I would switch with her. A few rows back? Mom and a mentally challenged kid? Sure, why not. A flight attendant listened in and I got treated like I was some kind of airborne God or something. Free drinks and snacks offered to me every time they came by. Loved it. Didn't abuse it. I figured their hardship in life was already rough enough and I could deal with the inconvenience of a window seat + slight delay getting off the plane.

Gulf airlines are scary. Qatar will randomly fire flight attendants then seize any assets they have in Qatar and blacklist them from ever returning. All of them are owned by their governments which means they're all owned by autocratic monarchs who were born to power. Emirates is a little nicer but still, you never want to say anything that might bring them into disrepute, even after you've left.

@@Jibriltz lol I'm a junior CC with qatar and it's not as bad as ppl say it is. They don't seize things that don't belong to them only things that they give you. CC are an asset to a company so they don't just fire CC anytime they like. The only downside is that there are many rules but these rules are basic rules like "can't leave accommodation 12 hrs before a flight " and etc. It's aviation law that we get minimum 10 hrs rest before a flight.

I have performed on a plane and it's actually kind of hard because you can't hear the other singers/musicians you're with as well as you're used to. It's also a 50/50 of other passengers loving it or hating it lol. Kind of similar to singing on a subway.
@puetwa3 жыл бұрын
Can you please explain a bit, how did it happen? Where did you store the instruments? And also... Why? :) was it promotion of sth?
@casualcascade3 жыл бұрын
@@puetwa Just to clarify, it's really not common. I've done it like 3 times in my years and years. How it happens: Usually, it happens because an enthusiastic director or member of the group travelling will say "Hey let's sing this song" and we all just go with it. For me it's only happened with large groups, like whole casts of musicals or when I was in school. I've never been the one to ask the flight attendant about it beforehand so idk their reaction. The instruments: Small or delicate instruments are brought on as carry ons, sometimes if it's big enough the instrument is bought it's own seat. Once my friend's cello had the middle seat between us for 12 hours. Sometimes, people just rent the instrument in the city they're going to, if they're not dead set on playing their own. I've never seen anyone actually play anything bigger than an oboe in the air but I would pay money to see a tuba busted out. Why: Usually? Just for fun. Sometimes, for promotion on social media. There are definitely viral clips on the internet you can look up. One that comes to mind is the cast of the Lion King.

There are few jobs where women are more vulnerable than as a flight attendant. It’s incredible the composure that most of them show.

I didn't know flight attendants go through so much 😂😂😂. This requires patience I just can't give

12:05: 90s, full plane, ... using only half the doors (in case of an engine-fire or something on one side). Note however that the certification-tests for how many people can be onboard a plane aren't done with random people, and the people who are part of them _know_ that they'll be evacuating and how to do so

As for doing the deed in a public bathroom being unrealistic, I've heard stories of people doing it in places waaaaaay more gross than that. Horniness finds a way.
@emmawickman11963 жыл бұрын
No she was talking about how it would be unrealistic that a cabin crew would like to do it. If you seen what we have seen in there trust me it’s the last place we would like to do the deed.

The bit I want from Wedding Singer is just before that when Billy Idol's on the intercom saying "and we let our first class passengers do whatever they want" as well as everybody crowding round and having a chat with the attendants

One thing I've never quite got about air travel in media, what is this troupe of hooking up with flight attendants?
@Harsha-il8vw3 жыл бұрын
Cause flight attendants are expected to be hot and they generally don't romantically engage with the passengers . It's a very popular fetish I guess. And it's a huge win if you can hook up with them

@@Harsha-il8vw Thanks, it must be difficult being a flight attendant with all the things they need to do.

The proper response to "give me your phone number" is to give out your airline's phone number.

As a flight attendant I’m sooooo annoying to watch anything that involves flights with. “Oh that wouldn’t happen!”, “oh that’s not realistic”. I have to watch these things alone lol

Why do you never see flight attendants entering or exiting the bathroom? Do crew members have their own? What’s going on, it boggles my mind.
