I like the train, is very comfortable, all the ameneties someone can ask for, what can you wish more, they have even s shower, and they gave even some slippers, this is a five stars treat. And a tv in a train, wow, that is really incredible

Hi do we need a pcr test when we head back to tblisi from Armenia by train? We are planning to go Armenia for 1 day arrival in the morning and head back to tblisi same day in the evening.

Hey there! Yes, when we went we needed a pcr test to cross the border back into Georgia. We recommend checking the latest info in case it has changed since September. Enjoy your travels 😊

Hey there great idea and we will be sure to include it in the next one! It was 150 GEL each in case you wanted to know! 😁 it's a little outside our normal budget but it was a nice way to spoil ourselves as we ride into the next country 😉

We are also planning to travel from tbilisi Georgia to Armenia by train, may I ask if evisa is still required if we travel by train and if vaccination certificate/pcr test is still needed?
@nicoleandmico2 жыл бұрын
You won't regret going to Armenia! It's a great country. When we went we needed visas (online) but the process was very quick and easy. They also checked for our vaccine certificate while we were on the train. The pcr test was not mandatory because we were already vaccinated. Note however that if you plan to head back to Georgia by train or bus then you will need a PCR test. Enjoy your trip :)

Nice video guys! Looking forward to doing similar. What were the costs of the train tickets if you don't mind my asking?
@nicoleandmico2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The tickets were about $62 CAD each for first class, and of course you can make it much more affordable by doing second or third class. I believe third class is a large open space where there are bunk beds, and second class has 4 people to a room from what we read online
@JennandLeon2 жыл бұрын

You could have walked out the back of the train station and taken the metro three stops 15:19 to Republic Square and then made your way on foot (or a really cheap taxi) to your hotel. I served in the Peace Corps there , 2017/19. My train from Tbilisi to Yerevan leaves in a few days. Thanks for the video.

hi guys! do you need pcr before you ride on the train going to yeravan?
@nicoleandmico2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! When we went in September we needed to show proof of vaccination. Going back overland into Georgia we needed a PCR. The rules change frequently so we recommend doing a quick double check before you go 😁 Enjoy your trip!

Have to got entry stamp on Armenia at the same time when you got exit stamped of Georgia( i mean in the train)

Hey there! We booked the train from Georgia to Armenia at the train station a couple hours before we left. This video was filmed in September 2021 so, at the time, there wasn't a need to book ahead. We aren't sure if there is a need now.

We actually don't remember choosing a stop in Yerevan! From our memories there was just the one stop in the city on the train we were on. About 30 minutes before arriving, the attendant came around and woke everyone up and said we were arriving soon so we all needed to get organized. It seemed like there was just the one option. I'm sorry we can't be more help!

At the time of our travel in this video (September 2021) the borders were not open but it may very well be now! We recommend checking out the IATA website to double check, that's what we normally do.
