So as to not give visitors to America information that might affect their wallet, not every state treats speeding the same in either how many MPH/KPH over the posted limit the police allows before a ticket, the fine amounts can be drastically different state to state. You’ve been warned! 😂

@@NextUpTunes Gotta agree. Not only are you being annoying it's just unsafe. Some people will be like "Isn't slower always safer?" 1971!!!! It looks pretty good on the drive in to the garage. I wasn't quite old enough to drive in '71 but this would have caught my eye. Edit: I was wondering if anyone recognized you. Out if state drivers are more likely to just pay the fine and are an easy target of opportunity. That was funny, though. Around here 15 over is too slow for many people. Actually stopping for a stop sign or red light, even with cross traffic in the intersection, might get you rear-ended.
@johnwilliams88182 жыл бұрын
Here in Wisconsin some of the posted top speeds are 75 MPH ( 120 KPH ) and with that "unspoken" 15 MPH over ( I had two uncles in the sheriff dept, they didn't even bother with anything under 15 MPH over ) That makes the average top speed in those areas 90 MPH ( 145 KPH ). In some other parts of the US, the top speed is 85 MPH or 100 MPH adding that "unspoken" variance. 135 to 160 KPH. I have to say though on a good day for a drive? Those speeds are a normal Tuesday for me 🤣

@@shannonp1656 Same here. Its made worse by a "State Law" that says pedestrians have the Right of Way if they are in a crosswalk or if they are crossing from corner to corner without a crosswalk. They don't get to cross against a red light, but if they were already crossing the cars are supposed to yield. It's a real challenge to convince those who have the "NEED" to always be the first person to go when the light turns green that they are supposed to wait for people. And? As soon as I saw that shiny chrome gas cap sticking out of the side I knew we were in for a treat. OK, pretty darn impressive clean up. Whoever did the repaint of this beauty looked like they did a good job. Your treatment for the chrome bumper was amazing. Admittedly, I was a bit choked up by the backstory. Even though the father passed on, the son still has the truck and some wonderful memories I am sure. I thought for sure the floor bottom of the interior would have rusted away, but that did not seem the case here. I wonder if the color it is now was close to the original color?
