I know that some detailers will pull the whole carpet out and pressure wash it, so I was thinking that would be faster with a carpet this dirty, especially there on the driver’s side. As dirty as this truck is, it makes me glad to see it so muddy before cleaning. This was a real work truck, and the new owner also intends to use it that way. it looks to be a spare and considering you should be driving rarely with it i dont find it to be too much of a problem, couldve been laziness on the tech to not rotate the tire so the light spot of the tire and heavy spot of the wheel meet or vice versa, sometimes you cant put weights on the inside for various reasons and that makes the outer side heavier, sometimes wheels are just garbage, but i think this was a laziness factor to be honest

Also another question, watching you do the carpets for hours, til theyre almost new, and then going to steam the dash seems counter productive as the grime then flows, falls, and flies down onto the already cleaned carpets. Do you edit the videos in the exact order in which you perform the detailing? Just curious, as it seems I notice quite a few instances in your videos where gravity alone would predict the order in which you would want to perform your steps. Awesome videos!

I’ve watched probably a dozen if not 20 of your videos before. I have always liked them. This is the first one I’m commenting on and this is the one that made me subscribe. The truck looks brand new. There’s a couple rust spots on the outside that you couldn’t do anything about. But the interior is a brand new truck. It is unreal what you have done with this vehicle!! I always hate the people‘s reactions. I know people never know what to say besides thank you and it looks great. But it makes me insane how nobody ever shakes your hand or gives you a hug. I would go insane if that was my work truck and you just handed it to me Looking like that. Again. Unreal. Just incredible work. You got yourself a new sub off of this one!!!

The one piece of advice I would highly recommend is to watch out when using steam cleaner on door panel speaker covers. The steam could seriously damage the speaker cones, glue separates and creates an issue with speaker.

I loved seeing this truck go from ICK to SLICK! The last truck my husband owned was a Ford F150 and he loved it. I'm not sure the color of this truck because sometimes filming something distorts the color so I'm not sure if it is black or blue but it looks like my husband's truck which was a shade of blue called Midnight Blue. It looks like this truck is the same color but it's about 30 years newer than the F150 my husband owned. He loved the color and he loved the name of the color so much that when he got a CB radio and had to have a handle he called himself Midnight Blue. I joined him in talking on the CB and I used the handle Midnight Lady. This was in the days before cell phones and truck drivers talked on CB radios (usually Channel 19) to help themselves stay awake on long overnight hauls. We were not truckers but we had a ham radio in our family room and we enjoyed talking to truckers as they passed through Nashville and late at night we enjoyed talking skip to people from Ireland and Australia and really all over the world. My husband passed away almost 20 years ago but watching this particular detailing brought back a lot of really good memories, so thank you very much.

I'm not an expert but I would assume steam evaporates much quicker than if you just sprayed water on it. Also with electrical components you don't really harm anything as long as there's no electricity running through them, also a lot of the "live", unprotected areas of wires are normally pretty hidden away.

@@ImThe5thKing Where do you folks live making these comments? I live on a dirt road in Michigan, during spring thaw all the trucks being driven on back roads look just like this. I also work with subcontractors at construction sites, the drivers of the trucks many times don't own them. You can guess pretty quickly the interiors get really dirty, not at bad as this truck but dirty non the less. Bottom line is work trucks with leather or cloth interiors and carpeted floors won't look nice for long w/o a lot of effort. Better option is vinyl seats, floor, door trim so they clean up easily. Better yet the trucks with floor drains that can be hosed out.
